Attractive cabin style home; beds were comfy & roomy; many restaurants in the area (Turning Point has a variety of options & delicious pizza) & nice downtown with walking trails
Lovely, quirky property with lots of space for our family. Great balcony space. The upstairs bedrooms were quite warm- although both had air conditioning units and fans which were helpful. The location was great- easy to walk into the town.
We loved our stay at Gili’s cabin. We were with friends and our kids. It was so cozy and we had everything we needed there. Gili was so gracious and so kind. We definitely want to stay there again.
A very nice property but I did find the fold down style futon in the living room does need better cushioning.Other beds are great and the house is very well appointed.Definitely will stay again !
Nice home in a good location. We walked to the main restaurant area and had easy access to Kicking Horse and CMH Purcell with our rental car.The owner occupies a separate unit on the property (I believe this is required for VRBO in Golden) and was helpful and friendly but in no way intrusive.Would stay again.
This is a fantastic custom-built log house with wood timbers stacked on top of each other. It is an exceptionally well-made home with a unique atmosphere. The location in Golden is very convenient to all stores, restaurants, and cafes, and was perfect for our ski crew to get to the mountain. The host is very responsive and proactive. We would love to come back and highly recommend this stay to others.
Nice, quiet place with plenty of room, within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops, and within driving distance driving distance of hiking, skiing, etc.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Could have been cleaner, very dusty.Curtains throughout, dirty, had holes & were not great in master bedroom as they did not cover the whole window.Wrong information on listing as stated it was a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was not available.Overall good location to downtown Golden but no privacy as host house overlooks.
We spent 3 nights with two couples and 2 kids. The house is well stocked with the things you would need, very clean, and the couple living in the guest house were very friendly and let you be. The upper deck was great to sit out in for an evening cocktail and take in the beautiful location. I would agree with reviews that changing the blinds in the master bedroom would be the one thing I would change if possible as daylight in July pours in early and the room is quite bright. They did have AC units in all bedrooms and the main level so that was great to keep everyone comfortable. We saw Yoho national park, did the golden skybridge, and the wolf sanctuary. But the highlight during our time there was taking the 90 minute drive south to Fairmont hot springs to float down the river. We had 2 cars so left one at the take out and drove under 10 minutes to the put in spot with our own tubes. It was a 2 hour lazy river float with the Rockies on one side and cascades on the other….stunning and very memorable. Golden was a great place for adventure!
Great Location and accomadation was fine. The outdoor lawn and sitting area was not kept and the table and chairs were very dirty and covered in bird droppings Overall the unit was fairly clean but the dishes were not washed thoroughly. The curtains could use a quick fix as they had holes in them and some didn’t fit the window. The upstairs patio was a fantastic place to sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen had the basics but there was no tin foil, Saran Wrap and some other needed items. Could also have used an extra towel as they only supplied one towel per person( ladies need an extra for thier hair etc)
A beautiful, clean home that was very well equipped for our stay. The hosts were lovely and attended to any need we had. Golden was beautiful to visit! Thank you!
The House was much larger than would have been adequate but it was enjoyed fully. We were not very demanding of its features. They were there at our disposal. Our stay and visit was unencumbered by the accommodation which we appreciated. Our was a great experience which I would certainly be inclined to repeat in the future, should the occasion arise!
