Nice cottage, but hotel is better for the same price
Nice little cottage, has everything you need, lots of closet space. Pretty clean - however I did notice spider webs at the top near ceiling.
The location is good, close to everything within minutes of driving. The place has space for two cars.
The owner is very responsive and courteous.
Had to put sheets on the bunk beds by myself, while being tired after the road trip before the first night.
The big pool looked very nice, however only opened on the 3rd day of our visit, and once it opened - the water was too cold, so no one (including guests from other cottages) was using it. The little pool is also nice - up until my husband stepped on a piece of glass that was on the pool floor and had lots of blood everywhere.
At the end you are asked to pack your own garbage and dispose of it yourself at the other end of the resort.
Overall I think the place is pretty nice, but I'd rent a hotel next time - pretty much the same price, but all beds are made, no glass in the pool, towels are provided, and cleaners clean everything...

Seasonal cottage with no heat
After staying in this property for one night, we discovered the home was advertised with "heat" but the heat was not an amenity the owners wanted guests to have. The owner told us he thought it sufficient to tell us to bring extra blankets instead of just telling us the unit didn't have heat. This was problematic for us, as the temperatures at night were down in the 40s (F), causing the property to become quite cold and uncomfortable. The owner later told us this was a seasonal cottage without heat, which the listing did not indicate. We notified the owner of our distress by text at 6 am and a phone call at 8:30 am. He said the phone call was too early and disrupted his sleep. The owner ended up coming to the property to deliver space heaters around 10 am, and when he showed up, he turned on the heat! It was behind a locked box, not available to guests. We no longer felt comfortable staying there, given our tense interactions with the owner, so we didn't stay for our booked 2nd night. I do see that the owner removed the "heat" amenity from the listing after this debacle.
We knew we had booked a park model trailer in a Resort, even though the listing incorrectly describes it as a cottage. The listing describes it as fully furnished with "complimentary fitted bed sheets, blankets and pillow covers. One would assume that means a properly made up bed with two sheets and a blanket. What we got was a bottom sheet with no top sheet and the blankets were previously used blankets in some cases.
There were no towels, hand soap or shampoo provided. After complaining to the owner, he did bring us some extra sheets and towels, but this should have been standard fare. Definately not recommended unless the owner upgrades the unit to what is described as a "fully furnished" cottage.
Cute little cottage in a resort park close to both the Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake's downtown. Ash's place was cozy and clean and the resort amenities were convenient. We spent a lot of our trip seeing the Falls and the associated attractions but it was great to stay near Niagara-on-the-Lake and take advantage of the more quiet and laid back environment it had to offer especially for dinner or a calmer stroll through the downtown area. We had a great time and would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.
Location is great - 10 mins from Niagara on the Lake. The property is in a trailer park. Very quiet (not close to the road). Amenities included a nice playground, swimming pool - not crowded, clean - and a new tennis/multi-sports court. Aquapark was closed and it doesn't seem it ever opened this summer (green stagnant water in it) which should be mentionned on the listing (or Aquapark pics should be removed). 6 year old had a lot of fun. We didn't try the resort-led kid activities.
Place itself is very basic but functional. Everything was clean on arrival. Strongly recommend asking for a list of what's included in the kitchen or not. Overall OK.
Owner was very nice and responsive when we had questions.
loved the place and location house was clean and well-stocked bought a lighter for BBQ but found one later so all good beds comfy nice appliances nice open deck Kids loved the pool WIll stay again if opportunity knocks
