Relaxing weekend away

We arrived late at night (which was a little tricky) and spent the next three days really relaxing. The view from the balcony was amazing, and I watched pelicans fish, and saw a dolphin. The property had wonderful amenities. The pool was perfect, and the gym and court areas were also very nice. It was a perfect base location for a relaxing getaway.

Nice Room but tough for seniors

Outside stairs only so difficult for seniors. Room was nice but the gloomy hall to get there is a little dark. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the waterway,the pool and all of the near by restaurants.

Hi Melanie, thank you for your review. I would recommend a ground floor unit for you next time. No stairs nor hallways! We do keep the hallways a little dark and I was told it's because the overhead lighting made the hallways hot. So they switched to dimmer light and they added a minisplit unit to cool the halls.

Winter trip

Very clean and updated but few things needed taking care. Couple light bulbs out & fluorescent light over sink in kitchen out. Cable for cable tv missing and cable box didn’t work but management did get it fixed day after we checked in. Outlet on the left side of bed, only half of outlet worked but did really like location of property.

Low Key and Relaxing

It was a very quiet stay. Loved having restaurant and beach area available-once arrived, we did not have to go anywhere Excellent sunrise and sunsets. Would’ve liked to see the kitchen area a bit more stocked. No pan covers and just one steak knife. All in all, nice stay and would return!

Fun family retreat!

We had a wonderful time at our stay. We have two children ages 6 & 3 and the pools and beach areas were perfect for them. We were lucky enough to see a few dolphins in the canal too!

Poor communication from property manager, & someone entered our room without asking!

We had to check in on an unsecure website, got emails with instructions from “no reply” website, unable to locate the phone contact info for property manager and the directions to find the building were quite confusing as the buildings are not clearly marked which is which. The bed is hard as concrete and the sheets were very thin and had a stain. The front door lock stopped functioning but there’s directions how to fix it in the binder, so make sure you check the door is locked every time you leave the room. And most frustrating is someone came into our room while we were out on our last evening and left a pool pass and parking pass, which we did not need either! I felt very offended they entered our room without any communication with me during the entire stay. The resort is nice. The river view was pretty. But I would not recommend this room to anyone.

Excellent Views

This property has lots of relaxing spots! The beach is nice and you can walk to one end and then take a path that leads to one of the marina’s. There are two restaurants, one that party’s and the other is a bit quieter. We were on the inlet side where the boats travel in and out. Quiet and calm. There is not a gym and we did expect one, so we did a lot of walking. I also think a toaster oven would be a good idea and a fridge/freezer. You can only get large quantities of ice and nowhere to keep it. Also if you are wanting to sit on balcony the iron chairs are not comfortable. Bed is king size and comfortable!
