Nice house very close to Saddleback. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Wish the beds were larger in the downstairs rooms.

Deer Crossing
This place was a perfect spot for a few days of skiing at Saddleback. The house was well equipped and very comfortable for our family. The location is a great spot between the mountain and the town.

Fantastic place!
This place is tucked away in the woods, yet close to town! We were frequently visited by deer right on the lawn! The place is very open and roomy, 10/10 would stay here again!
Our overall experience was very good. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade the 2 beds in the second downstairs bedroom.

Great Place with almost everything you need
Great place, Great price. Close to Saddleback and town. Nitpicking here but everyone wished the beds could be a bit more comfortable and we really missed having a dishwasher. Would rent again though

Wonderful retreat
Great place to relax and enjoy. Large open concept living space. Well equipped kitchen.
Bedrooms were cozy and even though two face the private road, Very quiet.
Bathrooms had plenty of hot water, maybe a few towel racks and grab bars near tub/shower could be useful.
Large TV and WF was fun to have. Smoke detectors work! Had them go off in late evening. But called Morton &Furbish Agency and sent a wonderful man who was helpful and accomidating.
The location is prefect for skiers being right on the road to Saddleback. Close to downtown and resteraunts and grocery store.
I look forward to more visits to this lovely retreat. Different seasons would be fun to check out eating dinner in the lovely screened Garabo. Large back yard for games.
Great 4 seasons rental. Morton & Furbish were very helpful and available to assist in any way they could.

Deer crossing suggestions for improvement
1. Fix the floor: re glue the lifting seems. The staples in the floor solve the trip hazard but in themselves create another (puncture or cut hazard).
2. Hot water: hot water supple was short and showers had to be less than 10mins on the first floor, second floor shower was fine. Kitchen sink ran out quick as well.
3. Future guest (or people unfamiliar with Rangeley) would benefit from having a welcome book.
Overall the house was nice and we enjoyed our stay if the owners go back and address the above mentioned issues they will have a great rental property. I would consider this property knowing the flooring issues and hot water had been addressed.
