Great location
The property and neighborhood are great. The basic home ammenities such as paper products kitchen utensils and clean, updated furniture are lacking, but can easily boost.the appeal and ratings by minimal investments. The dirtiness when we arrived was the worst and most disappointing part.

From the owner: "Hi Mark, thank you for your feedback—we’re glad you enjoyed the property and neighborhood, though we’re sorry certain aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. The home was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, with fresh linens and towels provided, and when additional items were needed, the property manager promptly delivered them. While we strive to maintain high cleanliness standards, pet-friendly homes can sometimes present challenges in removing all pet hair in one cleaning. We also wish any concerns had been brought to our attention earlier so we could have addressed them during your stay. Your comments on the amenities are appreciated, and we’ll keep them in mind for future improvements.Thank you again for your review."
The home was large, but not generously lighted. It lacked cooking pots and pans.It had a nice patio and peaceful view of the lake.Issues like the unique way the shower operated and low battery in front door lock were quickly resolved.Overall, an OK place to stay.

Family wedding reunion
We loved the property and it suited our 7 adults very well. We enjoyed the views and used the paddleboat. We found the dishwasher full of items when we arrived and it was apparent that deep cleaning under the sofa was not done for some time. The hot water in the master took a very long time to be available. The HVAC was comfortable and the ceiling fans were pleasant. The beds were comfortable. We really didn't use the TVs at all. It would be nice to have Spotify access through the Roku

Great location but could have been cleaner
Wish I could upload pictures of the dirt on the floor. Our socks had to be changed every time we walk through the house without shoes. Wash cloths had black stains on them that looked like hand prints / time to change them out. The biggest frustration was the TV with only antenna service. allowing a few basic channels. Furniture is the same furniture I had 25 years ago. It is a shame because the house is in a nice location but everything is done on the cheap. Location is the only reason it has a 3 star rating.

Hi Michael, we're glad you appreciated the location but we're sorry to hear some aspects didn’t meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:– Our cleaning team took photos of the floors immediately after preparing the home to confirm they were clean for your stay. We’ve stocked a closet with a variety of towels and washcloths, many of which are brand new. If any appeared stained, you’re always welcome to swap them out for a fresh set from the selection available.– A new smart TV has been ordered and will be installed as soon as there’s a window between guest bookings.– The furnishings are accurately shown in our professional listing photos, giving guests a clear idea of what to expect. The homeowner takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. Thank you for your feedback, and we’ll continue working to ensure a positive experience for all future visitors.
The house was very nice. We arrived late on our check in date, not noticing the followng until our second day. The couch needs to be updated. It was very uncomfortable. When anyone sat in it, they could fill the springs. The beds were comfortable, but the linen could have been better. There was only one tv that was not a smart tv, so we only received 8 chanels. The kitchen could have had more plates, fork, knives, and spoons. The pots and pans were ok for what cooking we did.
The rug in the family room was very dirty. I would stay here again, if I knew that they disposed of the rug and got better furniture. Like I said the house was beautiful and so was the location.
Overall we had a lovely time. The house was very big and fit my family perfectly, with some space that allowed for more privacy. Great communication from the host. The backyard on the lake was the best feature. It was very peaceful and serene. Lots of fish in the lake. We enjoyed our paddleboat excursions. The fireplace came in very handy with the colder days and nights. Beds were comfy. Couch was okay. A few things to note: there was no paddle board, nor any spices. Kitchen did end up having what we needed but missing a few things here and there. New cookware though. Some things throughout could use updating but wasn't a big deal for us. The TV situation was probably everyone's biggest gripe. There's just one smaller TV in the living room, not a smart TV, it just had satellite cable which was in and out depending on the weather. So bring a Firestick or Roku! But overall everyone had a very nice time and we did enjoy our stay.
Property was great location to our daughters wedding at Sun Lakes. Could have been a little cleaner, found a few cob webs on windows and debris around floors. kitchen amenities were not very clean . Hair found on linens . No facial tissue provided, no salt or pepper found had to go buy. Couches could need to be upgraded. Not a deal killer.
Un healthy - Arrived to gas cook top being left on no pilot lit. Many windows could not be openned to air out as tracks and screens were filthy. Patio was layered with Duck poop. Property manager said owners living out of the country refused to have it cleaned. Bedding was not cleaned - full of hair and dirt.
