About this property

Bush clad oasis in the heart of Paihia

This early New Zealand design home is set in a quiet bush clad private location in central Paihia. It is just 7 minutes walk from main the beautiful Paihia beaches, the wharf where boat trips leave from and there are bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as the town centre where there are supermarkets, a bakery, takeaways, book shops, tourist shops and more. Leave the car at home and walk to the beach, your boat trip or town, avoiding pricey parking in town! The driveway is a bit steep (most of Paihia's homes are set on hills) so you'll be ready to have a drink and relax when you get home.

3 beautifully renovated bedrooms make up the top floor of this family holiday home, with another bedroom located downstairs. All linen is provided- crisp white sheets and linen duvets give a luxury beach vibe. Beach towels are also provided at no extra cost so no need to worry about bringing your own! There are two new bathrooms making the home comfortable for up to 6 people to stay. Both bathrooms have large walk in showers. One of the bathrooms has a washing machine and dryer in it for you to use at no extra charge. Washing powder is provided and there is a clothesline out the back or a drying wrack inside.

The combined kitchen/dining is great for the whole family to socialise and cook together. It also leads out onto the wrap around veranda where you can relax in the sun on the outdoor couch and listen to the Tuis in the native bush. The kitchen is very well equipped so it really feels like your home away from home.
The lounge space has a large comfy couch and Smart TV. Wireless internet works well throughout the house so you can relax and enjoy or even work remotely.

Beautiful comfortable place to stay with a luxurious feel and a great location so close to walk into paihia and the shops and cafes there. Highly recommend for families or groups. There is a lovely deck for BBQ or relaxing in the sunshine with sound of birds and we even heard a kiwi bird close by to the house although we didn’t manage to spot it !

Just lovely - comfortable and cosy, had everything we could have wanted, including a great shower, so important! We arrived late at night amid pouring rain and it was easy to find and get in, which was such a relief! Everything was clean and tidy and just really inviting, we totally understood how it has such a high rating - very deserved!

We loved this place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very well equipped and comfortable, quiet with an attractive bush outlook. Only very minor quibble was that there was no shampoo!!! This was the perfect house. High up so had amazing views, the house was clean and tidy and the 2 bathrooms worked really well for our group. There were 4 bedrooms with comfy beds and plenty of space. It was an easy walk to town and the area is beautiful. The host was amazing as there had been a red weather warning the day we were supposed to arrive. Terrible times for everyone in the area. Advice was not to drive so she kindly let us push our booking back by a day so we still got to enjoy Paihia. We could see all the flooding on the way up the country. On the way back, a lot had subsided thankfully. All in all a great stay!

A very well equipped kitchen in a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room welcomed us to this 4 bed, supercomfy place.It's super well located, just 10mins walk from the pier.The beds are very comfy and although we were staying in the middle of winter, the aircon unit in the living room plus electric radiator made everything nice and warm for our stay. The 2 bathrooms with washing machine and dryer were also very new with great water pressure and no issues with a lack of hot water.We'd try to stay here again if we return in the future!

Perfect in Paihia

We had an amazing stay in Paihia and found ourselves perfectly situated for everything that we wanted to do. It was just a short walk into town, so everything is practically on your doorstep, and yet you are surrounded by bush and birds! The house is very well set up with all the amenities you could need - and friendly neighbours to boot! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to return, I wish we'd stayed longer.

Gorgeous home to stay in Paihia

Whole family loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was so nice we decided to grab supplies at supermarket and use the bbq on veranda to cook dinner. Short walk to centre of town and ferry. Host was fabulous - had great taste in coffee and vineyard trip recommendations too.

Pretty and peaceful cottage

A gorgeous cottage. The outdoor couch on the deck was a lovely, shady place for an afternoon nap. The bush setting was beautiful. We listened to tuis in the day and moreporks at night. There are neighbours on either side but it still feels secluded.
