Stayed here for a soccer tournament held at Grand Park. The property manager accommodated all requests in a timely and friendly matter. Definitely recommend if you need a large place in the Carmel area.

Property was perfectly sized, and was a very comfortable place to stay, and perfect for a weekend in Indianapolis. My only callout is that I did not see any TVs in the pictures, but there were multiple on the property which was very nice to have. Great communication overall.

We had a group of 13 adult friends travel to Indy for the United Mitochondria Disease Foundation walk. This house in a great location - quiet and beautiful subdivision - with good parking, great outdoor space and a comfortable house layout to accommodate meals, sleep and watching college football.

Great stay at this home in Carmel, IN. 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and plenty of space for inflatable mattresses if needed. We had 11 people sleeping in the home and there was enough room for everyone.
Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. We would stay again if in the area for a big event.

The house was very comfortable for our group of ten and we also enjoyed the ping pong table and grill. The property manager was was very helpful and easy to communicate with. One note for any group that is planning to put adults in the bunk rooms: the metal bunkbeds make noise at the slightest movement, so these rooms are best reserved for children or heavy sleepers. After the first night, the young adults in our group put their mattresses on the floor, to avoid disturbing each other's sleep, and it all worked out fine.

Family of 14 stayed for a long weekend. Good kitchen and dining space for meals in. Strangely lots of burnt out bulbs in various room, but also a large supply of lightbulbs left for us to change out. Nice queen and king bedrooms as in posting pictures, but the bunk rooms that did not have pictures had very light-weight metal frames that squeaked and shifted the whole frame with my 9yo turning on top bunk - would certainly not have older kid/adult up top.

Dirty, had ants, no towels, no blankets, no bedding for 10 people. Only 4 bedrooms were made up should’ve been six. There are no queen beds. They are full. There is one king with the rest of the beds are full or single just so you know. Because they lied on this I’m going to report them whole in the back deck which you can fall through and break your leg they should not be hosts for Verbo

Hello Linda - Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We offer16 towels and all the beds were made prior to your arrival. There are 6 bedrooms with a pull out sofa and 4 air mattresses. This is generally more than enough for parties of 10 but we will be sure to review. Our cleaning schedule and pest maintenance are on schedule and we have had no future reports of issues with either. We do appreciate your review and take every feedback item as an opportunity to improve our service to our guests.
Property was very clean and house was very spacious. The check-in process was not good. When I arrived at the property the door keypad was not functioning. I had to contact the property manager several times before he told me about a lockbox located near the garage door. Was not a good way to begin our stay. I was notified the day before our arrival that the central air conditioner was not working and each room had been installed with mobile units. They worked well at keeping the rooms cool, however, it was not a good feeling getting that call the day before our arrival. This should be detailed in the listing. The beds in the guest rooms were very small. For such a large house there really should be more than just twin or full beds at least one or two guest rooms.

First impression from outside should be warning of inside.
Dead landscaping with tags still on dead shrubs. Weeds and messy yard with thrown old hoses and other yard items. The trampoline should be thrown away. It has broken parts and covered with mold. Deck is moldy and has rotten spots, LP tank was empty on BBQ, screen on patio door broken and lying deck, front step was sunken and very high fist step. Keyless entry system failed to work to gain entry.
Inside the house was dirty and needing a lot of TLC. Claiming fans missing blades, light bulbs burnt out or gone, carpet dirty with food, walls and light switches filthy, kitchen not stocked well, one towel per four guests and towels very poor Quaility, sink in bathroom drain issues.

I don't know what the motivation is for such a bad rating after they verbalized us that they had a good time. A key point of clarification is that Emily did not stay at our property. We had 4 gentleman. Let me address what was raised...
1. The tags on the shrubs were left intentionally so we know what to replace should any not make it. I don't know how that affects the comfort of their stay.
2. Check in is usually at 4pm but they requested an early check in on the day of arrival. We worked extra hard and called in extra cleaning support to accommodate their request. We had enough towels for them and showed them where the extras were. We have never had this issue.
3. The house has enough lighting. I don't understand where the reference to not enough light bulbs is coming from. Again, Emily was not there and may be relaying information from someone else and adding her own exegeration.
4. The kitchen is well stocked...hot plates, coffee maker, air fryer, crock pot, instant pot, toaster, blender, baking pan, cooking pots, mixing bowls, knife blocks...dinner ware, silver ware. The kitchen is stocked. We even provided water, popcorn, tea, snacks, fruits etc. We are amazed at the lack of gratitude. They were treated well and did not indicate any displeasure.
5. We had LP gas enough to last at least 5 grilling sessions. We were surprised that they said they ran out of cooking gas. There was scarcity in town but we were able to drive to another town to get another gas bottle for them. We found out after they left that they did not run out after all. We now have 2 gas bottles.
6. The carpet is new and not dirty. We had 2 sets of cleaners as we called in backups to help. The unit was inspected prior to when they checked in.
7. The door access pad is in good condition. You have to tap on it for the screen to come on. They struggled with it and I was able to open the door remotely for them. The guest we have had since then have had no issues.
8. The deck is in good condition. After every winter, we stain it and will be doing so within the next two weeks.
9. The 4 older gentlemen that came had no reason to use the trampoline. Our neighbor has kids and they frequently use the trampoline.
10. I will reach out to Emily to request her to withdraw the false rating as she was not there.

11th Annual golf outing. 3rd time in Carmel.
Our experience was generally very good. The property suited our needs well: 8 golfers needing 8 separate beds for a 4-day outing. We prepared most of our meals and the kitchen/grilling area were great. We were unable to easily gain access to the property on our first day. Believe the problem was related to the operation of the key pad. Our guests eventually figured it out, after a call and callback with the property manager, but after golfing all day in 95 degree heat, it was not a great initial experience. Would suggest including more towels too. We brought some extras, so it wasn’t a problem. The dishwasher lacked a “stopper” to prevent the upper rack from pulling completely out, which happened twice during our stay. The 2nd time it happened, the rack was full and crashed onto the kitchen floor. Glass shattered everywhere, but no one was injured. In spite of a few unpleasantries, our stay was very good and I would recommend this property to others.

The property met our needs. We needed a place within 45 min of the local hospital for our pregnant daughter in law. We needed a pet friendly place where 4 families could stay. We stated up front that 11 people would be staying but the other 4 family members would stop in for Christmas Eve and Christmas. The day we were to get there we were told no parties and we had to pay an extra 300 a day for electric and other added expenses for more than 10 people. Why would be there over Christmas if we couldn’t have a family celebration? The basement, which two of our guests stayed in, had blood stains on the stairwell, screw tips sticking out of the wall, and was not well taken care of. The GFI outlets in the kitchen had been tripped. The dishwasher hadn’t been emptied.
The title of the place was pet friendly and perfect for large gatherings that sleeps 15, Then they said small print tells you no parties or pets. It was irritating as all we wanted was a special place to celebrate Christmas together as a family. We felt very much taken advantage of given we had no other options. Luckily VRBO rep helped smooth out the last minute charges.
We will be sure when we use a vacation rental again that it will not be one from Red Awning. While VRBO was very helpful, we were disappointed they would allow this property to be posted given the difficulties we had.

Unfortunately, the property wasn’t quite as nice as the pictures would appear. It appears the house has gone through some remodeling recently.
Lots of little things stand out. Like still being painters tape in a lot of the rooms. Smoke detectors hanging down from the ceiling. Basement smelled very musty and it was a parrot it been flooded recently as you could still see the watermarks on the doors. Hardly any furniture downstairs and just a bed laying on the floor in one of the bedrooms.
Lots of other issues that it just isn’t worth going into here.
I would’ve been very upset if I would’ve booked this is a vacation with my family but since it was a working trip with crew it didn’t matter near as much.
I hate to even give a bad review because I feel like this may be a new property they are trying to get into the rental market and they may have just allowed people to stay in it earlier than they should. It could be a nice home and great for a large group. Just needs some more TLC.
Very clean, good communication with owner, lots of space
The home was exceptionally clean with large, open spaces. The deck outside was great - perfect for our families and friends to gather. The beds were all very comfortable. The only suggestions we would give is to perhaps add another TV so both the adults and kids have something to watch. Also, there’s a great open space in the finished basement - perfect for adding some other entertainment (maybe a pool table, ping pong or arcade). We made a very last minute reservation, so all things considered, it was great and the hosts were accommodating. Be sure to check out Urban Vines - great family friendly winery with live music and open play spaces nearby. We also went to see the Indianapolis Indians play and that was a ton of fun.
The house was absolutely amazing! The space was awesome on all levels! I would definitely come back to this same house once all of the finishing touches are completed. I highly recommend this place for a great time away with friends and family.
