This beautiful home was perfect for our family reunion. We all enjoyed having our own bedroom. The king sized beds are a plus for the ones that have littles that can sleep with them. Can't think of anything that wasn't provided. Wouldn't change anything. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Was the perfect size for our family of 12. Everyone had their own space . Perfect amount of bathrooms also. Only bad thing I could say was roads were a little rough getting to property but definitely not owners fault. Had just a few problems but were handled immediately.. If we return to Broken Bow will definitely look up this property again .
The Steel Creek Lodge North was perfect for our little getaway to the river. The game setup upstairs provided entertainment for our stay. The directions they send you in the email are very thorough, but the place is still a little difficult to find due to some lack of road signs. One of the few downsides is that the covering over the grill doesn’t have any lighting so grilling after sundown was tricky plus the grill wasn’t cleaned up after a grease spill prior to our arrival. Overall, our stay was great and we would definitely book again in the future!

It is a very lovely cabin and accommodated us well.
However. Not very private. The cabins are entirely too close to one another and we happened to have very loud neighbors. That was not indicated at all in advertisements or marketing.
The dishes were not clean. The porches should’ve been blown off (all the porches were covered with leaves and pine needles.) There were cigarette butts, fish scales and over all not tidy appearance outside.
The grill was clean and bathrooms clean. But as much cleaning as we had to do before leaving- a tip envelope for the cleaning crew was a bit unprofessional.
Lovely place. But could’ve been better.
Outstanding accommodations. A great cabin designed for adults which was our objective. Designed beautifully, real quality in the construction, excellent choices in plates, silverware, perfect for our fishing outing. Of course the roads in the development are a disaster but that is not the fault of the cabin and we survived the potholes. Only suggestion we could make was that if the day is sunny, at breakfast the sun coming in from the east through the very high living room windows could benefit from some kind of blinds during breakfast. Probably not practical since they are so high in the vaulted ceiling but who knows. Anyway a superb place for a getaway. We look forward to staying there again.
