Three bedrooms (Master Suite with a king, spare bedroom with a queen, and kid's room with double bunk beds each with double mattresses on the bottom). A wide open floor plan with 360 degree views of the mountains including S Mountain. Super close to downtown, high speed Wi-Fi , HD Flat screen TV with cable in all the rooms and an office with a scanner an printer for your use! Great fenced in back yard with entertaining space, grill, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor dining as well. The garage is stocked with several bikes (kids and adults) for your use while you stay. Close to Historic downtown and the Arkansas River so you are close to all the great shops and dining. Ski Monarch is a 22 minute drive and other activities include hiking, biking, hot springs, fly fishing, parks and much more!

The property worked perfectly for our extended family traveling with a dog. The back yard was very inviting and the location was great. It was an easy walk to the farmer’s market.The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the window ac units. We will stay there again the next time we are in the area.

This lovely home looks small from the outside but is actually spacious and was very clean. There’s lots of seating inside and the patio was a delightful place to hang out and watch the night sky. We enjoyed the location you can walk to downtown Salida with good food options, Riverside park and the Arkansas River.

Amazing location

We stayed here for a friend’s wedding and had the best time! The location was great and we were easily able to walk into town. Would highly recommend staying here for a family or group of friends!

We were a group of 2 families with elementary aged kids and the house was great for us. The common area is very comfortable, the kitchen was great for meals, the fenced yard helped for our dog and the hot tub was perfect for a snowy day. It's an easy walk to downtown and there's a park with a playground even closer. Wendy was a very responsive host. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay

The location is great! We were able to walk to downtown for dinner and not to far of a drive for skiing. Close to a disc golf park too! The home was clean and the instructions for check-in were clear and easy. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after skiing!

I have no complaints about the house other than there was no air conditioning it didn't work the whole time we were there we talked to the host and explained the situation the first day we were told that we had to wait longer for the water to get to the pads on the swamp cooler it didn't start cooling the house off until midnight when you're outside got cooler the next day when we left we left the swamp cooler running when we got back to the house it was 85 in the house the swamp cooler never worked the whole time that we were there and we ended up having to try to sleep in the sweltering Heat this was totally unacceptable and the host didn't seem like it mattered to her we were told to open the windows and put fans in the windows which we did we could have spent our money at a motel room and had air conditioning and a decent night sleep for two nights we will not be booking again

I am sorry that you were unable to get the swamp cooler to work properly for you. It was cool in the evenings which is why I suggested opening windows and placing fans in the windows at night and closing the windows and blinds during the day to keep the cool air inside. The sun is very hot here so if blinds or windows are open during the day, the swamp cooler can't keep up. I had my HVAC guy come over the morning you left which was the soonest he was able to get there and he said it was working fine and that it was user error. My housecleaner said it began to cool down the house immediately after he turned it on. I stopped by and it was also working. I do understand the bedrooms were not cooling down as we had record high temperatures so we decided to install AC window units in every bedroom as well. The house is nice and cool when the swamp cooler in the living room is used correctly and the AC units will help future renters sleep comfortably at night.
