Kupe Cottage is double glazed, private and sheltered behind tree ferns. With dishwasher, unlimited fibre wifi, and lockable bike storage. It sleeps 4 in two single beds and a queen memory foam sofa bed. To add more beds, book Fern Arch cottage as well. Enjoy the large bathroom with a bath as well as a high pressure shower.
Eat out undercover on the deck, and watch the waves from the
lovely vintage wicker armchairs. Across the road from a great cafe, and two mins across the park to the swimming beach. Watch live tv, stream via the smart google chromecast, or enjoy our library of dvds and books.

Lovely cottage 1 block from the beach

We enjoyed our stay in Gay’s fully equipped cottage. It has everything you need, a comfortable pull out bed and so close to lovely hiking trails along the coast. Great value! Wed come back here. Michael

Ideal for 2

Ideal for purpose,2 nights.Have been regular visitors to Westport for over 6 years.Best accommodation yet.peaceful,quiet,out of town. Different to local motels etc.We will be coming back to Westport in either Oct or March next year and would love to stay here again. Unfortunately don’t know dates,but wil certainly be in touch.Alf nKris

Anniversary holiday

Lovely little Cottage over the road from Donaldo's Restaurant & Bar in Caters Beach. We had two great weeks staying in Kupe Cottage. The Cottage and area provided almost everything we needed during our 2 week stay. The only thing we would comment about was we had to travel into Westport to do our laundry and Supermarket shopping. Other than that we had a fabulous time and Gay was exceptionally quick with her communication.

I have worked around the world as a broadcaster and public relations practitioner. But back in 2000 I discovered the northern westcoast region of Buller. I fell in love with it. I have in lived in several parts of this beautiful area. I have always loved Carters Beach and have only recently purchased this 2-cottage property which now allows me to share this stunning area with you.

Why they chose this property

It offers beachfront with shelter, great food, a friendly community and is in the middle of an amazing selection of activities from cycling of all levels, to golf, fishing both salt and freshwater, and Westport's shops and cafes.

What makes this property unique

Why do I love it? It is a beautiful nest - compact, calming, and quiet with stunning treeferns, kauri and birds. A wonderful spot to chill, read, or wander across the road for a wine, a chat with the locals. Add to that great water pressure for showers, a full bath and undercover dry storage and drying for bikes and gear. What else does one need?
