Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 7 people.
Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.

Located in the Gilner Point area on Big Bear Lake. Short drive to both ski resorts and the Village! This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation rental is the perfect lake getaway. Charming vintage cabin located in a quiet, sheltered area. Two-story featuring a wood burning fireplace, private dock, Smart TV, and fast WiFi.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1,400 + sq ft home with living room, dining table, breakfast bar, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and comfy living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2 bath. The upstairs first master bedroom has a queen bed, a twin bed, TV with DVD player, private bath with jetted tub, and access to the balcony. Upstairs the second bedroom has a double bed and private bath. The upstairs third bedroom has a double bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stainless steel appliances, stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Board games and card games. The Smart TV and complimentary WiFi will keep you entertained while relaxing at the property. Get comfortable by the wood burning fireplace in the winter and fall seasons. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Amazing lake and mountain views. Private dock and gas barbecue.

PARKING - 3 car driveway

The best

This was the most amazing place to have fun. Big living room,big master bedroom, nice kitchen + Two small bedrooms downstairs. The only part you guys need to work on is,to have a TV. In the bedrooms downstairs, Other than that i couldn't find anything wrong with this lovely place. Thank you all.

Cozy and quiet

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and made it comfortable, as if we were at our home away from home. The quiet neighborhood made it a peaceful scene to enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We hope to return!

Completely misleading

The Cottage at Sawmill Cove was a huge disappointment. The “private dock” is used by many families-although we were told they were not allowed to do so. We never had exclusive use of the dock. The cottage itself is in disrepair, in fact, we were told by the management company that there were pending work orders but they were waiting for us to leave. The patio furniture is cheap and uncomfortable, aside from being filthy. The holes in the screens (no A/C) prevented us from being able to open some windows and screen doors. It was hot. The backyard was overgrown and full of dog doo. (Pet free per VRBO). In the spirit of full transparency, we requested a full refund, and were refused. A manager offered us a $300.00 credit, so hopefully we will get that, but it won’t make up for the disappointing time spent in this cottage. The location is great-close to the Village and hiking, but this place needs some professional TLC.
