Warm and Quiet Stay (Not!)
I want to first start by saying that the place was clean and we were happy when we first got here. Our happiness was quickly taken away when my daughter used the bathroom and after flushing, the toilet not only clogged, but started pushing out water onto the bathroom floor! The host did eventually send a handyman and cleaning folks latter the next day. Most of our trip we did not have the bathroom and couldn’t use the adjoining bedroom.
That same night, my daughter & I slept in the room furthest from the front door and had the coldest night ever! We had doubled up on clothes and sweaters and it was still freezing. There were no extra blankets or towels handy to help with the cold, so eventually got up at 3am (still hadn’t fallen asleep) & searched every closet and found a blanket tucked away upstairs. My husband also had a terrible nights sleep since he was closest to the front door and could hear the car noise all night since the house sits on a corner of an intersection (stop signs). That on top of the super loud heater in the hallway made for two tough nights there. (The heater only heated rooms if you kept the doors to the rooms open at night). The host was unwilling to make it right, we basically paid for premium and got minimum. Also, the EV charger is basically a wall charger, very slow and they only allow one charge. Would NOT recommend and the host was unwilling to make it right.
