The Home was well appointed with many dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans, bowls, etc. There was nothing lacking. I enjoyed drinking my coffee each morning and hearing and seeing the birds on the property. It was lovely to sit by the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, including small sculptures and a flower garden! The owner kept us in fresh water. A beautiful home with good beds and many towels and washcloths. Near many near restaurants and shopping.

Dear Leslie,
Thank you for leaving the house so clean! It was delightful to meet you and your family. We hope you come visit again. Love Sara
Had an excellent stay at this property. The house is as listed, the owner responded to messages very promptly, the pool and hot tub were excellent, the desert scenery was beautiful, the house is 5 minutes from grocery stores and anything else you might need. Highly recommend.
A group of us came from Alberta Canada and stayed at this property and the house was great. Sara the property owner was amazing, super easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and so great! We loved staying here

Peaceful - and great for birdwatching and cycling!
Owners very responsive - when we asked if they had more bird seed, they brought a whole bin and two more feeders! Loved the backyard. And it's so easy to bicycle from! We'll be back

This property is very nice and quiet. It is well equipped with indoor and outdoor seating, kitchen utensils, and washer and dryer. The back patio is beautiful and a good place to relax and watch birds. Communicating with the owner was easy and all went well. Thank you.

Tucson has so much rich history and drop dead gorgeous surroundings that we wanted to take as much in as we could. We got out for a cool hike almost daily. Tucson mountains, Catalina, Tortolitas, downtown Tucson and the U of A campus. All fun, relaxing and beautiful.
Sarah was east to work with! House is in a safe nice neighborhood.
Well furnished house. Kitchen has more supplies than most homes we have rented before. Everything was as advertised and my wife was impressed with the bed and shower head(Two things that bug her when we travel)

Thank you for the lovely review and for leaving the house so clean!!!
This was our first trip to Tucson. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is tucked into a beautiful area in the shadow of the Catalina Mountains. Gorgeous landscaping and a hiking trail right out the back door. Comfortable beds and all the kitchen items you would need. We will be back next year!

Thank you for the lovely review and for leaving the house so clean!
Arrival was prompt and easy to access the VRBO. Clean and such a homey. We were staying here for a family event that took place elsewhere and it was so nice to invite everyone back to enjoy the pool and hot tub and grill out! The back yard screams “ come relax”including the bird feeders and scenery. The host even has a lettuce garden in the back yard, How cool! Sara was easy to reach and prompt and pleasant with her responses. Such a sweetheart! The house itself was such a beautiful inviting space. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our family after a long day . Will be back!
Sara is a great hostess. She met us when we arrived and answered our calls when we had questions. Her house is on a quiet street in a nice subdivision near a preserve. The hiking trails at the state and national parks were close by which we enjoyed everyday. Swimming in the pool was very relaxing after the hike. The airplane museum was a wonderful way to spend a rainy day. We enjoyed visiting the Tucson area. Thanks Sara for making our vacation memorable.

I am missing you!!! I enjoyed meeting you and visiting. Hope you had an easy trip home. It rained yesterday and is sunny and warm today!

Loved the location at the end of Wine Plum. Very quiet and peaceful. My dog loved the meditation trail next to the property (as I did). The house was beyond my expectation. Very comfortable with many nice amenities. Sitting out back by the pool and waterfall allowed me many hours of reading. My family felt very welcome during their stay as well. I would make one minor recommendation, bathtub in master bathroom is slippery. Some kind of grip would be safe. Thank you for providing such a great place.
The home, in the north end of Tucson, was ideal for us. It was very quiet as it was at the end of a cul de sac, backing on to a wash, where could take a good hike behind the house. The backyard setting was quite serene. We were celebrating a birthday and on that day we splurged to have the heater turned on for the hot tub to have a nice relaxing soak. This helped to warm us with the cold snap the week we were there (late February). As a very thoughtful treat, the host kindly brought by a birthday cake! She was an excellent host!
She was very responsive if we needed anything that the house may not have had, e.g., a tea kettle. She conveniently lived in the area. This was important since when we arrived we weren't able to find the key. It would be appreciated if we could have gotten the owner's phone number prior to arrival. We did use the VRBO app to message her and she soon came to let us in. Other than that, we had an excellent experience.
The layout of the rooms worked very well for us. I could recommend that they add another couch or chairs in the living room so we can watch TV or socialize easier.
I would definitely return to this place again.

Thank you for the lovely review. It was great to meet you all. And huge thank you for leaving the house so clean.
The home is in a very nice setting. The beds were comfortable and the owner, Sara, was very nice to work with! Her cleaning crew does a very poor job and there was so much clutter stuffed in the cabinets that it was hard to find things.
My husband and I stayed here while moving into our new house in Tucson. It made for a convenient staging area as it was only ten minutes away.
Pros:
- Good location; close to shopping
- Quiet neighborhood
- Pool; washer and dryer
- Sara left a homemade cake for our arrival; nice touch
Cons:
- Fridge and freezer hadn’t been cleaned out before we arrived- open half bottle of wine, remnants of a large plastic bottle of iced tea, half-used condiments (maybe some people appreciate that?)
- Owner’s belongings were everywhere (e.g. closets were full of clothes, paintings, etc.)
- Internet and tv reception were spotty
Bottom Line:
Sara seemed nice and helpful, but the house felt more like someone’s home than a rental property. I prefer a rental that's been professionally cleaned before I get there and has a less "lived-in" feel to it. Others might prefer something more homey.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Ms. Harper, the owner, was attentive and very helpful.

About the host
Hosted by Sara Harper
We have lived here in the neighborhood for 30 years. We purchased the vacation Rental six years ago and have had retreat style classes and sessions at the house. You can have a Massage, Acupuncture or a Jin Shin Jyutsu session while you are here. for an additional fee.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this home because it is on the edge of the desert in a quiet neighborhood. The views of the mountain are stunning and the sunsets are dramatic. It is a peaceful retreat home.
What makes this property unique
The house is close to some of Tucson's best dinning. With a variety of restaurants to choose from within a two mile radius. It is also close to Foothills mall, Tucson mall and La Encantada mall. It is a spacious and beautiful home with great mountain views. The floorpan is open and the kitchen has all the tools for real cooking.
