The Space:
The home easily accommodates 4 people 2 generous and well- appointed separate bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, and second has a single bed with a pull-out trundle. Both bedrooms are generous in size and feature built in wardrobes
The kitchen offers plenty of bench space and a breakfast bar and leads onto to the dining room. The living room is generous in size and has been recently recarpeted, along with the bedrooms... It has got everything you need to relax after a long day of exploring.
Warm and cosy in winter and cool in Summer with a reverse cycle air conditioner.
A designated off-street parking space adjacent to the cottage makes it extra convenient to check in and to unpack shopping.
There is a great sunny rear garden for enjoying your meals or morning coffee.

The neighborhood surrounding the property offers a relaxing atmosphere while still providing the necessities of inner city living.
500m from the cottage is Parliament Street Park, with a huge slide swings and large green space. Also there is a beach and play park only 4km from the property, Marienville Esplanade. There is plenty of space for children to play or to relax in the sunshine.
The closest major supermarket is Coles Supermarket in Sandy Bay, only a 3 minute drive away. Highly recommend popping into Hill St Grocer located Corner of TT Flynn Street and, Churchill Ave, Sandy Bay, provides the best quality fresh produce and gourmet Tasmanian products .
With Salamanca only being a 5 minute drive away, I would highly recommend going to the iconic Salamanca Markets on a Saturday morning. The weekly outdoor market held by Hobart’s waterfront offers a diverse range of nearly 300 stalls including original and hand-made Tasmanian pieces of woodwork, jewelry, fashion, glassware and ceramics, as well as the finest flavors from the food and produce stalls. Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am to 3pm.
I would also recommend the Farm Gate Market, which runs on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to1pm. The market is located on Bathurst Street, between Murray and Elizabeth streets, and offers some of Tasmania’s finest produce direct from the farmer.
Getting Around:
Buses run regularly close by on Proctors Road and Sandy Bay Road , time tables can be accessed on line on the MetroTas website. Closet Bus stop is at Stop 13, No.4 Proctors Rd.

Uber is available in Hobart.
