This was a big house for two with tons of room and it was a great place to stay. Very clean with plenty of everything needed for our stay. Big porch in front , where we spotted an elk and a deer . Close to Yosemite . Really enjoyed this place and I’d highly recommend it for a lovely stay in the mountains.
The house was kid and pet friendly with a large yard for them to run and play. There was plenty of space for my family of 4 with medium sized dog. Kitchen was equipped with the necessities. Jim wasadequately responsive too.
Everything was as presented in the listing. Bed was comfortable. We loved the fenced yard where our dogs could roam freely, hated leaving because of how much they loved the property. The location was so quiet, that made it worth our while. The small market nearby is very expensive compared to the Pioneer Market in town, so know that it is for convenience only if you don't want to drive several minutes to Mariposa or Oakhurst in the other direction. Loved the long country road with horses and goats and only wished that we could stay longer. Wasn't crazy about not having a dishwasher, but with all the other pros and benefits, it was worth washing our own dishes. Should have taken a picture of the swing under the tree in the back to share since it's not in the listing, but it depicts the perfect country setting. Thank you for allowing us to stay - will definitely plan to come back and visit this area again when your place is available.
This is the second time our family has stayed in this house to visit Yosemite National Park. The house is clean and cozy, has everything you need for living. The owner of the property quickly responds to messages and is pleasant to talk to.
Nice little place tucked away from the business of life. We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful peace and quiet it supplied. Not too far from Yosemite and the cute little town of Mariposa. We will definitely stay here again!
Comfortable bed, safe location, Beautiful surroundings, owner had helpful items like day cooler, and Ziploc baggies that we were able to use for our outings to Yosemite each day. It’s a good deal for the price you pay. It’s an old house, that smells old, and feels old, but all items seem to be working. Our only suggestion would be that they have the heat turned up above 45 on a December evening when we arrive- it was a chilly welcome and took a while to get the house up to a comfortable temperature.
