About this property

Let the bird songs and ocean waves take you away from the everyday to somewhere very special. Come and experience this beautiful beach home set amongst lush, private gardens on one of Wooli's largest allotments. Relax on Bird Song's wide, elegant wrap-around verandas or in the quiet garden places. Literally just over the back fence is the glorious Wooli beach where you can walk for miles and not see another person. 20 people on the beach is a pretty busy day!

The home has 3 large bedrooms, main bedroom with ensuite, spa and toilet, second bathroom has shower, vanity, toilet with a third toilet off rumpus room. Kitchen/dining area and bedrooms open onto wide verandas allowing sea breezes to cool the home or enjoy reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout. BBQ on rear north-facing deck. The kitchen is clean, modern and well-equipped. Freshly painted throughout with a simple decor. Grounds are fully fenced and offer ample off-street boat and car parking.

Bird Song is located close to the Wooli Bowls Club, tennis courts, children's playground, beach accesses, the Cenotaph, local yummy Wooli Wooli Cafe, skate park and Wooli River. Walk in the Yuraygir National Park; watch kangaroos graze on the sports oval in the middle of town; whale watch in season; hire a fishing charter or river boat; scuba dive the Solitary Island Marine Park. Do lots or do nothing. Either way it will be hard to leave Bird Song behind.

Wooli Wonder

Birdsong is a very comfortable house with large verandah overlooking beautiful gardens which are well lit at night with pretty lights. The house is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. In the heart of the village it was perfect for our family get together of 5 adults.

Great yard, close to beach and bowling club

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at bird song, the yard and gardens were a standout. The house is well equipped with everything you need and plenty of space. Just a short stroll to the bowling club and the beach/river either side. A few improvements would make it perfect though- the house definitely needs a screen on the main door from the kitchen out to the veranda to keep the bugs out. An outdoor table and chairs would be a great addition to sit out on the veranda looking over the beautiful gardens. The overall cleanliness of the house could be improved, the cups and plates from the cupboard were dirty and you could see the sand and dust under the furniture. In saying that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
