The Garden Studio is a separate modern split level one bedroom with en-suite, in a loft style configuration.
The entrance is into an open plan kitchen and lounge. There are sliding doors connecting the outside covered deck looking out to a private garden. Upstairs the loft bedroom has a queen bed, with views of mature trees, and the bedroom opens onto a sunny deck.
The Garden Studio is a peaceful hidden retreat on the southern outskirts of Sydney, just 1 hour from the CBD and 40 minutes from Sydney airport. Located in the Royal National Park, Maianbar is a small village surrounded by pristine bushland and unspoilt beaches.

Best Studio in the Royal National Park

We had an amazing stay at Alex! The Studio is very private, with garden views, a lot of natural light and Alex's attention to details made our stay the best weekend away. Everything is brand new, beautiful and well thought of... the bathroom poducts were great too! The location is perfect, quiet and close to the walks and surf beaches. Highly recommended!!

Nice place to stay

Great place to stay, host was great, gave us a welcome note as well as some chocolates. Pantry had a few things too to help make the stay more comfortable like tea, coffee, salt, pepper and sauces. May have been a typo, there was “hot tub” listed on the stayz site but no hot tub but didn’t matter, we just went to the beach. Very pleasant stay and also convenient to have a washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend this place.

This location is an excellent base for accessing local activities such as, swimming kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and all water sports (5-minute walk away). Other local activities include bush walks, cycling, mountain biking trails, and observing local birds and native wildlife.

Nearby beaches such as Maianbar spit (10-minute walk from Garden Studio), Bonnievale, Hordern’s, Jibbon, and Wattamolla offer many opportunities for swimming, and the local surf break is nearby at Garie (15 min drive).

The local Maianbar café/shop provides basic supplies and takeaways. There is a full supermarket, bottle store, local clubs, cafés and takeaways in nearby Bundeena (10 min drive, 40 min walk). Please be aware Uber Eats and other food delivery companies often do not provide service to Maianbar.
