Great Secluded House, Nice Stay

A few friends and I got to stay at this house and it was great! Communication with the host was more than sufficient. All was as it was portrayed. Good time around the fire, close to spots in town. Golf course under 10 min away. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay. Their were 9 of us for a college reunion. It was so great to have room to gather inside and out. Place was clean and bedroom were great. Little cold and rainy while we were there but found the brewery and bowling close by. Anytime I reached out to Katharine she responded in a timely manner.

House was large for our family and beautiful property,but clearly the only room updated in decades was the kitchen. All else seemed to be original fixtures throughout . Overall did not seem intended for VRBO. Accommodations were rustic, basic necessities such as hand towels and hangers minimal. May be worth bringing your own. Needs a lot of updates for the price paid.

Summer Weekend Stay

We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and well maintained. We had every age range and all enjoyed the stay. It is very close to Mt. Snow and a cute little town down rte. 100. We would definitely return. the only suggestion would be to update the lawn chairs, they were not in good shape and couldn't be used. But not a big deal we used our own beach chairs.

Overall great stay close to Mt Snow

We enjoyed our stay at this house for a ski trip to Mt Snow and Stratton. Our group included two families with young kids and 3 other adults. For the most part, the layout worked well. 3.5 bathrooms were great for our large group and the water was always hot for showers. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for cooking and hanging out. We enjoyed having a fire in the evenings and the front entry area with heated floors was nice coming in from the cold. We did use all of the bedrooms for our group, and the twin bedroom in the basement wasn't in great shape. The windows were also quite drafty, especially in the main living area and some of the bedrooms. We would have appreciated more extra blankets as well as hand/face towels. Communication with the host was clear and questions were answered quickly. Overall, we had a great trip and would recommend the house, but there is a bit of room for improvement.

Family Gathering

Nice home and rooms for everyone. The town is really cute with great hikes and restaurants. Lots of activities in the area and lakes to go to relax and get out of the summer heat. The only thing I would mention is the lower level was damp when we arrived. Once we found the dehumidifier it was fine but wish it was turned on before we arrived.

Everything you need

We could have been happier with our recent stay. This property was very private but close enough to everything we needed. There are shops, dining, hiking, swimming, boating, etc… all within a 15 min drive. The house was very clean and well maintained. We’ve rented other houses where you could tell they were rentals, but this one felt more like a home. The host was very responsive before, during and after our stay. As a very large group ( 5 families with multiple kids) we couldn’t have been more pleased without choice in properties.
