Great home with wonderful views. Wide open spaces both inside and outside. Home was clean and all the comforts of home. Loved the massage chair and the rocker.
This place was wonderful! It was overall clean, but a little more attention to detail in being would have been even better. It worked great for what we needed and accommodated our large group.
The property was nice and secluded. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife. The house accommodated our whole family and had toys and games for the kids. It was a pleasant experience. We did find a few dirty dishes so we washed everything before using but that wasnt a big deal. We would definitely reccomend and use again if we travel to the area.
Nice nearly isolated quiet back woods location. House looks small but interior has ample space. Kitchen area is spacious. but could use a dishwasher. Glassware could be updated and normal coffee/tea cups included. The TVs are great and every bed room has one. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. We didn't use the other beds. Bathrooms are very nice. The air conditioning could be more even but works well. In general a comfortable stay.

Hello Marcia, thanks for letting us know about your stay! The owner wanted to share the following:
- We take the cleanliness of our home seriously and we are deeply sorry you experienced mice around the home. We were informed prior to your reservation about this issue so we advised you that our cleaner would have traps placed in the house. We have since had the home treated and now have ongoing pest control who monitors the property regularly.
- We will reach out to our cleaners and have them empty the cupboards and we purchased a brand new toaster for the kitchen to ensure a 5-star experience for our guests.
We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve for better stays!
My daughter couldn't get the Thanksgiving holiday off from work so she and I stayed here over the weekend with her two dogs. It was great! The home is clean and neat. The kitchen is well stocked. I cooked our holiday at home and reheated it at the house. Everything came out fine. The house is secluded so her dogs didn't bother the neighbors. We watched the sunrise each morning over the hills off the back deck. The beds were comfortable. The bed and bathrooms are off on either end of the great room so we had our own personal spaces. We had fun exploring the countryside. The scenery is beautiful. There are many farms and hiking trails. We found the Holland American Bakery with authentic Dutch treats, the Appalachian Trail with a boardwalk as the path, well attended Christmas fairs in Port Jervis, and we even saw a Bald Eagle!
Enjoyed the location, rural with no external lights or sounds to distract. Close to Port Jervis for access to restaurants, etc. Rental was well equipped and had great internet connectivity. Wooded grounds were beautiful in late October with the fall foliage.
The house was very clean, organized, and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their stay and felt at home. Would recommend to others who need to be close to Port Jervis. Played golf every morning at L:ynx GC just 5 minutes down the road.
