The perfect spot for us!
Good evening Yvonne, I just had to get in touch and let you know about our stay in Dolphin Beach House. What a fantastic holiday. The villa was the perfect spot for us. The staff were fantastic and I couldn’t say enough about Sharon our chef, she produced the most wonderful food, and Brooks the manager / butler went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. Our clothes were laundered and back in our wardrobes that evening, hence we could have come with a carry on bag and not the suitcases full of clothes that we didn’t wear. El Tempio, is a Italian restaurant about 100 yards down on the beach literally, tables and chairs at the front in the sand. We had a few good afternoons drinking cocktails during happy hour 4-6 every afternoon. They have a really good menu and a great cocktail list. La Cabane is a beach restaurant less than 10 mins away by taxi, actually walking distance if you feel inclined. We had a great afternoon there on the staffs day off. The Old Cliff restaurant, which we were very disappointed with last time we went there has now changed hands and has been totally refurbished. It’s now QR bistro, great spot on the cliff overlooking the beach . It is about 10 mins walk from the villa . Food was good and the Nicki Beach crowd( which has closed) seems to have moved to it. Great band played during lunch great atmosphere . The only problem was swimming, there is a very strong undercurrent and the edge is very stoney, definitely care would be needed with kids. All in all we had a great holiday and would highly recommend this villa to anyone.
