The Douglas on Third is a small boutique hotel located on the second floor of a beautifully restored 100-year-old building, thoughtfully updated inside and out. As one of the few places to stay on historic Third Street in downtown McMinnville, it offers a truly unique location. Perfect location, great for couples

This is a compact and attractive apartment ideal for a couple interested in exploring McMinnville and the Willamette Valley wine country. The location is perfect, with the entire McMinnville commercial district and its many cafes, restaurants, and tasting rooms only steps away. The manager (Lucetta) was also exceptionally responsive and hospitable, typically answering messages within an hour. When we reported an issue with the hot water pressure in our shower, and it was clear the problem could not be fixed before our departure, she did the right thing by moving us to an open unit in the same building and reducing our fee. We would certainly consider staying here again.

This apartment was super cute and cozy!! We enjoyed our stay quite a lot...it was a little loud since the Turkey-rama was happening but overall is was great. Our host was very kind and even left us a bottle of wine!

Back in 2012, the couples decided that they wanted to take on a fun project, and thus the Douglas on Third came about. Meeting new people, introducing them to the town and community they love, and simply being hospitable is something they are all passionate about. They cannot wait to make your stay at the Douglas on Third a memorable and enjoyable one.

Why they chose this property

The Douglas on Third was completely remodeled in the fall of 2016. While all of its updates give it a modern flare, the qualities of the original Douglas Hotel are ever present. It is a unique and inviting space that will serve as a wonderful home base as you explore McMinnville, OR.
