Kristinanna 2 BR Condo on Big Mountain - Great Summer Fun, Close to Glacier NP

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on Big Mountain is a comfortable, welcoming getaway for families or couples year-round! During the winter, hit the slopes without having to hassle with overcrowded parking lots - our close proximity to chairlift 3 makes for an easy ski-in/ski-out to the slopes. In the spring, summer, and fall months, you can literally hike or bike out the door - Big Mountain is known for its mountain biking and hiking trails. After a wonderful day outside, relax on Kristianna's exterior deck, barbecue on the outside grill, or go for a dip in the hot tub and sauna (winter only). Crank up the wood fire stove, sit back with a beer or glass of wine and enjoy the expansive mountain view from the vaulted ceiling living room. Our well equipped kitchen provides all the necessary cookware and utensils to create everything from soup to souffles. As an added treat, we stock coffee, tea and hot chocolate for our guests. Finally, each bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed, complete with high thread count linens, plenty of blankets and thick plush towels. An aero-bed air mattress is available for parties over four. High speed internet, cable television, books, and various games are free for the use of our guests.

Our ideal location on the mountain makes exploring the area a snap! Park your car at Kristianna's dedicated parking lot, and spend your free time skiing, hiking, biking - several restaurants and a local village market are just a short walk away. Plus, our condo is located a few hundred feet from the 'Snow Bus', which provides an easy way to get into town without using your car. For those wishing to explore further, we are located about 33 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park.

For all guests, our condo provides an excellent staging ground for exploring the beauty and breadth of Montana in any season. Welcome to Big Sky Country!

Great ski vacation destination

This was our second year at the Kristianna for a family ski getaway. It's a perfect cozy place, close to the hill and fully equipped with what we need for our stay. Nothing like a big day on the hill, followed by a soak in the hot tub, and an evening by the stove (though we definitely didn't need it this year! Great spring skiing weather!)

Perfect low key relaxing spot in whitefish

Minor issue with checkin that was taken care of immediately. Place is well stocked, super clean and exactly as advertised. A short walk to lift 3 and right on the return to ski in to the front door. Everything was in order and worked perfectly. Would definitely stay here again anytime.

Great Stay in Whitefish Village

Great place to stay near the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Short walk to access lifts to start the day, ski right back to the condo parking lot at the end of the day. The unit was comfortable, clean and well outfitted. The owners were very informative and accommodating to our needs. Would definitely go back.

Annual ski adventure

We enjoyed our stay at Kristianna on the mountain. Although the snow was a little further away than usual, it was acceptable. The suite is beautiful, comfortable with lots of supplies. The only thing that we could not find was a bread knife? Weather was on the warm side, but skiing was good on the North side.

We are two couples - Marjie and Glenn and Mitch and Gwyn (in photo) - who have been friends since our moves to Montana. After having a shared history of children in travel hockey and as curling teammates, we decided to purchase a condo on Big Mountain. Buying this condo together is one way that we can continue our good friendship in the years to come.

Why they chose this property

The location of our condo is perfect in so many ways! It is located near Chairlift 3, making it an easy ski-in location. Hiking and biking is literally out the back door. Easy access to snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and other seasonal activities such as rafting, zip-lining (summer) and huckleberry picking (autumn) make it a great location. And we all enjoy going to Glacier NP, a short drive away.
