Great place
Great little cabin. Only complaint was the bathroom upstairs instead of by the bedroom. Overall was a nice place to stay.

Nice place
The stairs are too taxing for older guests and the property is too far from town. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. Very clean with nice amenities.

Beautiful place but…
My husband and I wanted a secluded spot for our 15th wedding anniversary trip. We saw this little house and the price was reasonable so we decided to go for it. The drive was pleasant and it was easy to find. We did not realize that the house was closely adjacent to another home/office as it was not shown on the picture or mentioned in the listing. The house was not busy but we did hear vehicles and people a few times late at night so be aware that there is a house right next to your location. The house also kept bright flood lights on all night and it shone in the window which disturbed our sleep some. The bedroom was downstairs and there is one bathroom upstairs which is fine EXCEPT that you have to climb the stairs to use it if you are downstairs. This gave us some problems because it was just an inconvenience to climb up them during the night. This would be a major issue for an elderly person or handicapped. This is not noted on the listing. The towels were folded but were sopping wet when we tried to use them later that evening. Thankfully there was a dryer. There was also no baking sheet or anything to bake. There were a few pans. No coffee or sugar was provided so we had to get our own. One roll of TP and paper towels so we also had to get our own. Otherwise, the house itself was charming and the town of Blowing Rock and Boone had great food and shopping
