For those who appreciate the finest in a rustic, western retreat, imagine staying at a sprawling 200-acre ranch featuring a tastefully decorated, custom-built house which comfortably sleeps up to 15 guests. This secluded country property in Grass Valley, CA, is 19 miles from Nevada City, & 13 miles from Auburn. The property features a private creek, swimming pond with rowboats and zip-line, hiking trail, stone patio with outdoor grill and fire pit, lighted tennis and basketball court, hot-tub, 2 donkeys, and 3 horses. The creek running through the property is a mile hike from the main house.

The 6000 square foot main house, built by custom woodworkers, has a floor to ceiling library in the great room with a stone fireplace and large wood table for group dinners. The main house sleeping accommodations include a bunkhouse with 4 bunkbeds, two twin beds and a queen bed, a bedroom, sofa bed, sleeping nook upstairs, and a screened sleeping porch that is lovely to sleep in the summer. Please note, the bunkhouse has a summer camp vibe for kids and to access the 2 twin beds and 4 bunk beds you must pass through the room with the queen bed.

The 600 square foot cottage is well appointed with walnut floors, hand plastered walls, marble and large bath with tub. Two additional 300 square foot bungalows overlook a picturesque valley. The bungalows are a short stroll from the swimming pond, hot tub and main house. Each bungalow contains a queen size bed, bath, and private deck.

Golf, skiing, rafting, hiking, and biking are just a few of the activities accessible by short car trip from the ranch. The property is conveniently close to the scenic Yuba and American Rivers.

Our caretaker lives on the property in a separate unit away from the main house and are on hand to ensure your stay is great.
