Great house in downtown Gaylord full of charm! It was an excellent spot for our siblings golf trip - very close to premiere courses. We loved being walking distance from restaurants, shops and bars. The house was spacious, bedrooms were very comfortable. Thanks for making it a great vacation!

Great heritage home

This spacious heritage home is located within walking distance to downtown Gaylord. Loads of room, air conditioned and well outfitted for a larger group. There is plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall the house is just as advertised. Seller contact was not needed as check in and out was easy. Comfy beds and good water pressure. Didn’t spend much time in the house during the day but the AC kept it cold enough at night. Great location for walking to restaurants and a short drive to great local courses

Enough space for our large family!!

This house was amazing! Everything was as advertised and there was plenty of space for all my grandkids to explore and play. The house is so eccentric and seems to have a story to tell. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any large families to do the same. Proximity to local and chain restaurants was excellent as well. Overall, a great experience!!

Your home is very lovely. A perfect fit for our extended family that came up to ski in the area. The grandchildren loved playing in the house especially with the front stairs and back stairs. We also enjoyed the 2 family rooms. The children could watch their shows while we could watch ours.

Our group of 9 had a great time. The only issue was that the heat was a little tricky to balance. The very top level of the house was cool and perfect for sleeping- but the main level was very warm - even after turning the heat down.

Great historic house for adults and kids

We had a 10yr old, 3yr old, 2 yr old and 3 month with 9 adults. We all had a great time. There was plenty of toys and space for the kids to explore and play. They also have baby gates to block of the stairs. The house has great character. It's so close to walk into town. The communication with Colleen was great, she quickly solved an issue with the top floor being too warm. Would definitely recommend!

Historic House in Town

This eclectic and historical house comes with an incredible number of amenities to make your visit comfortable. It feels more like a family home than a rental property. It is located within walking distance of downtown Gaylord. It is very clean with comfortable beds and nice towels. Includes a washing machine and dryer to include detergent! It is a large home with plenty of room for a group to spread out. On the opportunity side is maintenance. The front door deadbolt is not engaging all the way and when we arrived the front door was open. As the house sits on the Main Street of Gaylord, this was a concern. It was a warm summer weekend and the upstairs does not have air conditioning. Most rooms have fans but it was very hot and uncomfortable. We could not use the bedroom on the top floor as it was too hot. Overall it is a great house for a large family or crowd.

Well equipped quirky old house

Our family of 8 were in Gaylord for a wedding. The house is located on the Main Street and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. On arrival we found the front door wide open. This was uncomfortable given the house fronts Main Street. As a 100 year old house it has its quirks and it appears the font door is a bit warped and the deadbolt is not latching I contacted the management company but never heard back. We found the house to be empty and enjoyed our stay. It has a "lived in feel" to it. My daughter described it best "it feels like the family moved out and left everything". There is a wide and ample array of household necessities to include laundry detergent, bath supplies to include hair dryer. The house holds a lot of antiques. Family photos and mementos are located throughout the house. It was a warm weekend in Gaylord and the air conditioning does not extend beyond the first level. There are tower fans but were not up to the task. The third floor bedroom was a sauna so we did not use this room. I recommend window units be installed in this space. I would stay here again.
