About this property

House with Stunning Ocean View

This home is a welcoming retreat for artists and anyone who values quiet and seclusion. It is decorated in an eclectic mix of antique items (including a cannister set from the 1880's once belonging to my great-grandparents in the Netherlands) to original works of modern art. The open concept mini home was renovated in 2021/22 to provide everything you could hope for in a holiday home: A/C, updated kitchen, sliding doors to a huge screen room, woodstove and ensuite bathroom. Please note - the house is on a steep hill so if you are towing a heavy caravan, or your vehicle needs a brake job - this may not be the rental for you.

Very nice home, the kitchen is amaaazing and so well-furnished! The 2 bathrooms are awesome and the towels fluffy. The beds are really comfy too. We loved the covered patio. Would book again and again, it's really a peaceful place!

Beautiful, clean, quiet, secluded location on the edge of the woods. Very comfortable place with everything you need to relax and unwind after exploring Cape Breton Island. Loved the screened in porch to sit and read in the evening.

Beautiful, relaxing home in a quiet wooded setting with beautiful views of the water. Home was clean, cozy & welcoming. Even though it's off the beaten path a bit there's an Irving Gas Station, restaurant & liquor store 15 minutes away. 20 to 25 minutes there's a Walmart, Grocery Store & many restaurants on Port Hawkesbury across the causeway. This house was a great location for exploring all of Cape Breton & Nova Scotia mainland.

A wonderful vacation

This house is very well supplied and very comfortable. The location is very private. This is a home away from home. The house has everything that you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to get away!

We came here for a quiet weekend and this rental was exactly what we were looking for. It was far enough from the road that we could take the kids outside for a walk and even got to see some local wildlife!

Mulgrave by Cape Breton

Beautifully equipped cottage for those that want to stay close to Bridge to Cape Breton but still enjoy some quiet and privacy. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great place!

Wonderful, small place which was exactly what we were looking for. We used it as a base to explore Cape Breton Trail. Master bedroom very nice en suite. Spare bedroom very small. Great woodburning stove! And view was nice.
