Spacious. It is a whole house, two bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. One bedroom has two double beds and the other has one. Everything worked, fish oven can be used as toaster. A/C was very effective. Beds comfortable, plenty of towels. No tourists in this neighborhood.
Things to be aware of: you must climb stairs to get to living area and to bedrooms above that. Stairs from living area to bedrooms are twisty-a bannister would be nice although they are not as common in Japan. House is about equidistant between two subway lines; not a super-long walk but not nextdoor either. House is on a busy street so there is traffic noise but it is also reasonably easy to get taxis. Grocery Don Quixote very nearby. No dryer (also common in Japan) but washer works well. To take a shower you close the door and the whole little room is the shower.
All in all very nice stay, really appreciated space and kitchen.
