FIRST TRIP TO HHI

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay on HHI. The walk to the beach was nice and enjoyable. We took the longer route to Alder Lane Beach Access all but once. We loved the walk. We took a day trip to Fish Haul Beach, collecting shells and sharks' teeth. HH Ice Cream and Duck Donuts were amazing! We also loved visiting Sea Pines and eating at the Crazy Crab. The home was very nice and provided everything we needed. The appliances were great, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the ample seating in the living room allowed us to enjoy games and movies. Make sure to bring bug spray, as there are lots of mosquitoes, and you are next to a lagoon. However, this wasn't enough to ruin a wonderful vacation!

Perfect for everything in Hilton Head

The property is exactly as described. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom so great to stay with many people. It’s the perfect location to everything in Hilton Head (restaurants, bars, beach, bike rentals etc)

Great family trip! Loved the condo! Very spacious living room and kitchen. Just what we needed! Loved having the folding chairs and beach towels and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals! 3 bathrooms was so nice to have ..one for each bedroom!

We had a great stay at this property. Quiet and great location. Property manager was great when we arrived late in the day and had trouble finding the unit in the dark and it was beginning to rain. Very responsive. Thank you!

We enjoyed the condominium. It was a great location, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was nicely decorated, too! We , especially, enjoyed riding our bikes on the beach. It was nice we could ride, or walk to the beach easily. We went to the Nectar for breakfast one morning!! Great food!

Location along South Forest Beach Drive is excellent - close to Coligny Circle, beach, shopping, restaurants. Easy walking or biking. Unit is spacious and pretty well furnished. For those who cook a lot, kitchen could use a few more pieces.

Overall we were very impressed. Our family of 7 had an amazing time and the house was great. Clean, quiet, good rooms, kitchen with all we needed for our stay. Very confortable! Amazing!!

This condo is absolutely amazing! It had plenty of room, very spacious and comes fully equipped with everything you need. I would highly recommend if you have a big family, group or just want that extra room. The stores/shops and beach is in driving distance but not too far away. The property manager/host was very quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful. We had a great time during our stay!

This was the perfect place for our family of six. Super clean and all the extras included! We loved that blankets, beach chairs (even an umbrella) were part of the provided amenities. That being said - there’s so much to do in the area that we didn’t even use those things! We walked to the beach, swam in the pool, and ate at so many great places! This house had lots of thoughtful touches like plenty of cooking utensils and curtains to ensure darkness when needed. It was quiet and convenient. We enjoyed it very much.

The place was hard to find because they didn't give me the subdivision's name. Two out of three toilets were broken, and the refrigerator doors were hard to shut, and kept popping open unless you slammed them shut. I feel these things should have been fixed before our arrival

Fun time

We had a fun time and this property is close enough to everything that we could ride bikes to everything we wanted to do. Unit was not clean when we arrived (master bed and bath was not clean, bed not stripped, towels on floor in bathroom), but we had requested early check in, so we cleaned it and washed the bed sheets and towels. There are not enough blankets in this unit. Floors and baseboards were dirty and cobwebs on chandelier. There is a broom, but no swifter. That would be a good addition for guest use. We did ask manager and she was going to drop one off, but we did not see her or the swifter. Unit could use a deep clean.

Pleasantly Surprised

We stayed at this property in mid-April for 4 nights with a mixed family of 7 (2 kids, 5 adults). Originally, we were searching for larger home at twice the cost but settled on this property based on its location to downtown and proximity to the beach. Suffice it to say, it is easy to get to just about anywhere on the island from this location in relatively short order. You can bike to restaurants, the beach, and shops faster than you can drive. There is ample parking immediately in front of the building with bike racks throughout the property and the community is well-maintained, with mixed residents of permanent homeowners and renters alike. The bedroom on the main level should probably be used for kids, but we decided to use this room for the grandparents, so they didn't have to climb the stairs to the upper level. The oddity in this room is the fold-out couch, which I can't imagine working at all given the limited space. Either way, the connected bathroom (recently updated) has a walk-in shower which was another benefit for aging parents. Outside this room is the dining area which has a newer table and matching chairs. The kitchen is adjacent and has newer appliances (electric range, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and even a Keurig) and a decent number of plates and utensils for cooking and eating. Other than food, the only other thing we bought for the kitchen was a sponge to rinse dishes...although a drying rack would be a simple and useful addition. The kitchen also has bar seating for 4, which came in super handy for feeding kids on the run. The living room has seating for at least 6 (one sofa folds out into a bed, didn't use) and has a decent TV and DVD setup. Internet connectivity was perfect throughout the visit. Off the living room is a sliding door to a small outdoor patio. The patio seating is a little dated, and the electric grill appeared to be in poor maintenance (didn't use), but with the cool temps, having the screen door open was a good to have to avoid the mosquitos. The upstairs bedrooms were very clean and well furnished. The beds had pillow tops and were great for sleeping after the long days on the island. The carpet and bathrooms were spotless. Both had TVs (as did downstairs), but we didn't use (only the one in the living room). Both have good closet space to hang clothes or store luggage, and both had furniture to store clothes for the week. A minor investment in curtains or newer blinds would be great additions

Thank you for a detailed review. We have taken some suggestions to heart. We have purchased a drying rack. The downstairs bedroom did have room to open the sleeper sofa but it would have been close quarters. With that in mind we have replaced it with a new futon. This is a new property for us and we will continue to update items such as the blinds and the electric grill. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.

Special Olympics Tennis tournament

Came here (8 family members) for Special Olympics Tennis at Shipyard. Property was very convenient to all shopping and beach access. Super clean and large enough. Will book again for next year!!!!

We had a great family vacation! The kids were thrilled to have a bunk bed! Plenty of room for our family. Loved staying at a place with kitchen and washer/dryer. The condo was clean and updated. Wi-Fi, cable and access to streaming services were other perks. Very easy/short walk to the beach. Convenient location to Harbour Town and other attractions in Hilton Head.
