Mercer Lake:
Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1.5 miles further east on Mercer Lake rd., watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option, West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water.
Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well..
With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish.

great place to stay
clean, beautiful view of lake, quiet, close to beach and Florence is just a few miles from house. Property manager is great to work with and responsive.
The property is very beautiful with amazing views and wrap around deck. We loved the wildlife such as deer and bunnies coming through. We loved that binoculars were available and activities like puzzles and games. For a full week family stay leaving only 5 laundry wash pods was insufficient. A pack and play and high chair would have been very helpful/useful.
We had an amazing stay at this property! We spent many hours just enjoying the view and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped for the many meals we cooked together. I can not recommend this place enough!
The views are amazing. The house is so beautiful. It's very peaceful, and it's just a short 15-minute drive from old town Florence. I would definitely stay here again.
Great place, lots of room! It was well set up and we would love to come again someday!
