Great property. Plenty of activities and separate areas to relax throughout. Direct access to lake with private dock and boathouse.
Modern interior, and clean. Lots of space as well. We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lakeside cottage! The cottage was clean and spacious and was comfortable for our group of 8 people ranging from teens to seniors. The town of Bobcaygeon is a short drive away and we enjoyed the farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Kawartha Dairy is also a short drive for a fantastic ice cream cone.
Everyone enjoyed exploring the lake with the kayaks and paddle boat as well as dockside fishing.
The boathouse was an added bonus for hangout space.
I would highly recommend this cottage!
We absolutely loved our visit to Jolie Maison. Ron could not be more accommodating and was easy to reach. We travelled with three families and had kids ranging from 2-9. The property was perfect for young families with the play-set, games room and paddle boat. The views from the cottage were brilliant. We had incredible weather while there but if we had a rainy day there was plenty to do in the cottage to keep everyone engaged. I highly recommend this property and would love to return. I do recommend water shoes as there are quite a few weeds in the bay once you clear the dock area.
We were looking for a 4 bedroom cottage to go away with adult kids. The cottage description did not mention that the 4th bedroom was part of a converted garage with no bathroom. If it did describe as such , I missed it. In addition, we were looking for a cottage experience. That includes swimming. The water is not able to be used for swimming. It is far too weedy. I was quite disappointed by this. The owner was nice and friendly but the cottage was not what we were looking for

Thank you for staying with us. The details of the bedroom mentioned is there in the additional details section of the listing. The listing also clearly mentions 2 full bathrooms and not 3.
The lake is a living body of water and as such does have lily pads. We do have a section right on the dock (15 x 15ft) that is cleared for small swims.
I am sorry you were disappointed with the experience.

Welcome to Chalet Paradise. Our home away from home in the quaint town of Bobcaygeon. After having lived in India and Dubai - we finally put our roots down in Canada. My wife and I manage our IT software development business and live in the Greater Toronto Area till we retire and move to Bobcaygeon.
All three of us are avid boaters and love our cruiser, kayaks and time on the water. I love to fish and on most free days that's what I like to do.
Why they chose this property
My wife, son and I are avid travellers and have visited over 30 countries to date. Of the many places visited in our lifetime, Bobcaygeon remains one of our top choices and this prompted us to set up Chalet paradise. We also wanted to provide our friends, family and you with an opportunity to relax on a waterfront chalet that provided everything that you could desire. From fresh linens to clean towels, beds that are luxurious, surroundings that are peaceful and nature that surrounds you. We love to spend time with our friends and extended family and planned this chalet to provide some activity for all age groups.
