Welcome to CasaFlex, a newly renovated paradise just a 5-minute walk to the beach! Have a peek of the ocean from the terrasse and look at the parrot while taking your coffee. You can also take a walk to the village for grocery shopping, go to the beach and take surf lessons.The main house features 3 bedrooms, while the annexed guest house offers a queen bed, bunk bed, full bathroom, and kitchenette. Perfect for two couples, this setup ensures comfort, privacy, and space for long stays.

The house is very safe and secure. There's a guard on duty every evenings and nights. The house is also equipped of security cameras, safes, alarm systems and digital locks.

Step into a spacious living room designed for relaxation, with plenty of natural light and cozy seating to unwind after a day at the beach. Enjoy meals in the charming dining area, or head outside to the beautiful pool where you can soak up the sun with a fresh drink in hand. At night, retreat to naturally lit rooms with comfortable beds that guarantee a restful sleep, making every moment at CasaFlex feel like home.

The charming beachside town of Esterillos Oeste is a short drive 20 minutes from Jaco and 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio. Although Jaco is only a short drive away, Esterillos Oeste remains quiet and peaceful with his 300 people. The town is surrounded mostly by patches of rice fields, grazing cattle, and thick tropical rainforest. Once you arrive in the modest town center near the beach, you will find a couple of small grocery stores, a few restaurants. Costa Ricans live in Esterillos Oeste, but there is also a sizeable population of ex-pats from USA and Canada including several living around the house.

Esterillos offers stunning views of the Pacific, and access to some of the best surfing and paddling in Costa Rica. This area is renowned for its abundance of fish, including black and blue marlin, sailfish and dorados, making it the perfect spot to cast a line and land a live one with sportsfishing expeditions. Visitors who want to remain on dry land can head out into the lush rolling hills that surround Esterillos Oeste on an ATV, or indulge in a leisurely trek through the countryside on horseback.

Our family enjoyed every minute of being at Casa Flex. It is perfect for a larger group and the pool did not disappoint! Clean, safe, great property, and a view of the ocean from the upper deck/tiki lounge. Enjoyed my coffee every morning. Location was convenient and located only a few minutes from the beach (albeit some trekking up and down a hill). The beach was quiet and the town is not touristy - great surfing spot! For those looking to see monkey's, if you go down the street and up the hill to the red gate at 4-5pm, they will be there and give you a show. Julien was an excellent host with great communication. Will definitely visit Casa Flex again in the coming years.

The property and the management are amazing. The location is quiet and secure (we met the security guard that walks the neighborhood each nght). Kitchen was well stocked and, because the water is not necessarily drinkable, they had a 5 gal bottle with pump ready for us. The only "surprise" was that the whole main house is not air conditioned, only the bedrooms. The guest house is fully served by one one split unit that serves the entire open floor plan. Pool was clean and bright and everything worked. Quick walk to local grocery, cafe, bar and the beach...quiet little village community but grocery store was well stocked. Top notch property. A

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Flex especially the pool and were surprised to see monkeys in the trees and macaws flying overhead! The A/C’s worked great and the main house suited our needs.Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the apartment because of water intrusion but the owners worked with us on a solution. It was our first family vacation in Costa Rica and we plan to come back! Communication with the property manager and owner was easy and efficient. The town is lovely and the beach was pleasant with tide pools to swim and snorkel.

We had a pleasant stay in Esterillos. The house was more than we needed, but the location and the view is why we chose this property. The neighborhood has plenty of dining options and a couple of mini marts so no need to travel much.

Perfect Costa Rican beach stay

Great Value and Awesome Beach, The 2nd studio is a Great add on.

Pool was amazing, we spent most of our time there, the partial Air conditioning is important to know, 3 bedrooms have ac, living room does not, guest house is studio and has full A/C.They have a few camp chairs, sand Toys, water toys, yoga mats, very well equiped.Quiet as well, the beach is very large, and not very busy.

Our trip to Eaterillios Oeste

This was an awesome location and perfect lay out for 6 adults and one teen. Easy access to the beach, stores, sodas, and surf board rentals. Reasonable drive to Mangrove monkey boat, Manuel Antonio Park, Jacó and Resteraunt on the beach in Playa de Bejuca. I highly recommend this rental

Thank you April for your stay. the Mangrove Monkey Boat tour is a nice quick tour with kids. They are usually able to see closely white face monkeys and the drive is about 35 minutes only.

The house is beautiful and we loved the pool, the porch was great for lounging. The host communicated with us and responded quickly to our concerns. We had issues with the plumbing, toilet clogging, shower spray clogged, and no hot water in the garage apartment, the kitchen light was broken. Recommend renting a car with four wheel drive to get to the house as there really isn't much in the area. Because of this we cooked at the house a lot and due to a lack of ventilation in the kitchen it was super hot while cooking. The water at the beach is very rough, not swimmable for us.

Tropical Oasis in Costa Rica

My graduate school cohort loved our stay at Julien’s Oasis in Esterillos. The property is beautiful and as described! The owner kindly allowed us to have an early check in and late check out. House is situated within a short walking distance from the beach and driving distance from Jaco and Quepo. We would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Home

CasaFlex was amazing. Great communication with hosts and staff, lovely neighborhood. Would recommend people rent a 4x4 when staying there because the dirt roads around it can be a little dicey. Loved Esterillos Oeste and the property, especially the outdoor shower and the pool.

Thanks Rachel! Great recommendation about the 4X4 . Going up the hills to the house we never know how the Canada Hills road will be because of rainy season and if the city was able to repair it.

We are a young family of 4 with twins of 5 years old from Montreal, Canada and we found out coincidentally that the community is called Canada Hill. We bought this lovely home in 2021, and since we have put a lot of love and work into it. We like to travel, meet local people and try different things and taste various food. We like sports, games, music and coffee. The twins are not into coffee yet :)

Why they chose this property

In 2021, we built a small studio-type guest house to comfortably stay with other couples of friends and today our pretty property is today a cross between local architecture and modernity. We can now go have a coffee or do a yoga session on the roof of the studio which offers a view of the ocean. Canada Hill, the surrounding community, includes friendly Canadian, American and local expats.

What makes this property unique

The ocean view from is unique and perfect to watch macaws. Esterillos village is also lovely and not denatured from its roots. EO beach is great for walking, surfing or fishing what can we ask more ?! :)
