Perched on a high crest in the Del Pacifico Resort, Villa Jardin is a wonderfully appointed, spacious, luxury villa with a beautifully landscaped garden and a private infinity pool.

Villa Jardin is one of several properties owned and operated by Palm Coast Luxury Rentals in beautiful and tranquil Esterillos Este.

At Palm Coast Luxury Rentals, our mission is to provide our guests with affordable luxury accommodation in the Central Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica, a base to explore from, a place to return to.

Del Pacifico is ideally located midway between the popular beach resort of Jaco and the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Del Pacifico is less than 2 hours drive from the International Airport at San Jose.

From the moment you arrive at Del Pacifico at Esterillos, you will find a place unlike any other in Costa Rica. Set in the midst of the grandeur of the Costa Rican rain forest and the exotic palm coast of the Pacific Ocean, Del Pacifico at Esterillos offers the best of both of these settings. Del Pacifico is a village by the sea – a private place to relax, recharge and reflect. A master-planned community designed by internationally renowned architects and woven into the very fabric of Costa Rica’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

Perched on a high crest in the Del Pacifico Resort, Villa Jardin is a wonderfully appointed, spacious luxury villa with a beautifully landscaped garden and a private infinity pool on a 18,000 SF landscaped corner lot, with an ocean view.

The house is nestled in the privately developed community of Del Pacifico in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

The villa is a 3000 SF one-level, custom-designed home with soaring ceilings. The numerous French doors open from the living quarters to a colonnade oriented towards a landscaped garden and an in-ground, infinity-edge private swimming pool.

The open concept kitchen-dining-living room and terrace/colonnade include terracotta floor tiles: teak wood walls, ceiling beams, door and window frames: as well as comfortable and significant furnishings.

The main double-door entrance opens to a covered portico with the three bedroom suites on the left and the living-dining room and kitchen wing to the right. All bedrooms include en suite bath with glass shower stall and adjoining dressing room.

The professional kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, wood cabinets and a two-door, full size illuminated pantry. Guest powder room/pool side change room and laundry room with half bath are adjacent.

There is easy access to the two-car, carport, which is unified architecturally with terracotta floor tiles and teak wood pillars and ceiling beams. The whole house is air conditioned for your comfort.

We also offer a chef service for an intimate meal served in the condominium.

THE LOCAL BEACHES

Del Pacifico is situated next to one of the most spectacular beaches in all of Costa Rica and truly one of the special places on the planet. The beach stretches for miles. The surf is always spectacular. Spectacular surf on one side and a palm-fringed beach on the other. Truly paradise found. One can walk for hours and pass only a handful of people. If you wade across the shallow stream to the south, you will likely have a 3km beach all to yourself, save that is for the pelicans, wading birds running in and out of the surf or perhaps a sloth moving through the branches in one of the trees at the edge of the beach.

Our favorite time on the beach is early morning and late afternoon. It’s a fifteen minute stroll from Playa Bejuco to various hotels on the beach that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is nothing nicer than taking a stroll up to the beach for breakfast at one of the open air restaurants overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Yoga and fitness classes are available at Encantada Ocean Cottages and The Pelican Hotel. The Alma del Pacifico also has a fantastic spa offering an extensive menu of Costa Rican spa treatments combining professional, personal care and a beautiful seaside setting, which creates an experience of peace, wellness and rejuvenation.

We get such a kick out of knowing our guests are having an awesome vacation.

We are happy to arrange any of the following for you:

• Surfing all along the coast - we can arrange lessons for you.
• Private yoga and fitness classes
• Horseback riding along the beach
• White water rafting trips run out of Quepos (20 minutes south), for the most adventurous try the Churro river, the highest class of rapid available to tourists in Costa Rica – you are not allowed to run it in the rainy season! For the less experienced rafter try the Savegre and Naranjo rivers. The rafting company H2O is fabulous and very safety conscious.
• A night out (or two) in Jaco (20 minutes north), great restaurants, bars shopping…. Something for everyone.
• Go Zip lining – there are a number of zip lines in close proximity to Del Pacifico.
• D18 hole Disc Golf in the Rain Forest.
• Sports Fishing - go catch Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi. The Costa Rica Pacific Coast is one of the top destinations in the world for sports fishing. Boats run out of Quepos and Los Suenos (30 Minutes North). You can also charter a simple fishing boat from Esterillos for a more low key fishing experience. Also fish off the beach for snook.
• Take a jet ski tour in the waters around Manual Antonio National Park.
• Try an ATV Adventure.
• Take a day trip to Manuel Antonio National Park. Go hiking, swimming and nature watching in this tropical paradise. Round off your day with a meal in one of the many great restaurants to be found in the area.

Sam, the owner is great. Very responsive and friendly. The house is spacious and very clean, and the pool was kept in great condition by the 2x a week pool cleaner. The house is in a great location with a market and restaurants 5 minutes away, and other great restaurants and shops 10-30 minutes away. There are lots of nearby activities from the beach, fishing and horseback riding. 20 minutes away are zip lines, ATVs, waterfalls, a butterfly farm and chocolate farm. So much to do and if you need something he or his manager Matilda bring it right away. We will stay here again next time we are in Costa Rica! We stayed here for 30 days this time and it was truly home.

Amazing area

We had an amazing time. The grounds were well kept the pool was wonderful. We spent a lot of time sitting outside enjoying nature. The bedrooms had plenty of room and privacy. We alway felt secure In this gated community. The property could be updated just a bit, but overall a great value and we highly recommend a stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Garden Villa with Private Pool

This spacious and beautiful home was a perfect private escape for our two families. We enjoyed the pool and the resort amenities every day of our stay. The location was close to multiple restaurants, beaches, shops, and an easy drive to Manuel Antonio National Park. The host communicated well and the photos matched the location. We were greeted with iguanas, macaws, and so many gorgeous birds! I highly recommend this lovely villa!

Beautiful villa and good location

The host Sam was very responsive and helpful. No problems with finding the place. The villa is very nice and clean. Loved that it was away from crowds yet so close to many interesting places. Enjoyed the birds in the mornings and the quiet evenings, kiddo loved the pool and watching the stars. Beach is beautiful too, 5 mins by car. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Worth it coming back.

First Stay in Costa Rica - Outstanding

Great for first time in CR. Not the most touristy area, which was great. Very close to beaches. Owner very responsive. We arrived Xmas day and the Italian restaurant was open at bottom of hill. Outstanding. As was the Danish bakery. A little rough gravel road up to the villa, but it is an area full of wildlife. We saw toucans, wild pigs, a monkey one day having fun in a tree and a pet iguana who resided by the pool. Close to Manual Antonio and Carara parks. Place was a nice retreat and we (family of 5) enjoyed it immensely.

the ultimate in privacy and luxury at this very spacious and secure villa, a must stay!

I have been in Esterillos Este several times and in the development/condos of Del Pacifico. This time at Villa Jardin was the best stay so far. The property consists of 2 separate buildings, one consisting of 3 large gorgeous bedrooms with ensuites and a lovely private infinity pool. Ample space and comfort both inside and out and can easily accommodate 6 guests which makes the price unbelievably low. And now the town center has so many businesses open and most amenities needed are now at your fingertips. An easy walk to some of the most beautiful and certainly uncrowded beaches anywhere. The owner even has contacts for drivers with vehicles to accommodate all guests for sight seeing, tours, or just transportation anywhere for any need. If your vacation takes you to this are in Costa Rica then this should be your #1 choice as it certainly is ours and we've already booked to return!

Stunning, spectacular, serene!

This property wows from the moment you see it! Beautiful in every way. Gorgeous house, pool, and landscaping; lovely outdoor spaces for dining and relaxing; comfortable and clean bedrooms; a common area with kitchen/dining area and living room in a massive open floor plan that does not disappoint! We loved gathering around the pool or the common area together as a family and then having the privacy of our own rooms to return to. This place is stunning from every angle. The flowers are vibrant, and birds and butterflies abound. The views are lush and tropical. The area is also quiet and safe. The villa has a luxury resort vibe to it...with all the desirable features of home (such as laundry and kitchenware). A short drive away is a wonderful beach with the most epic sunset you may ever witness. There is a market for groceries, restaurants, and a few shops close by. All you need for a dream-come-true vacation. The villa itself is so amazing you might not want to leave!

This home is even more beautiful than pictured here online! (We stayed here with our five kids, ages 8-15.) Truly, we were blown away by the luxury of the yard and pool, the lovely clean rooms, and the spacious but cozy common area/kitchen. We grilled burgers, cooked up some pasta, and made breakfast each morning. The kitchen had all we needed. (Eating outside was lovely, but be prepared for mosquitos.) Ken was communicative, friendly, and accommodating. Laundry facilities were so convenient. The bathrooms were clean and bright. We have no complaints! We'll never forget sunset swims as a family, incredible morning yoga views, and pool-side iguanas. We were so glad we stayed here at this incredible home rather than in crowded Jaco or Manuel Antonio (both 30-45 minutes away, which didn't bother us at all as we drove in either direction each day.) We'd certainly stay here again if we ever make it back to this part of Costa Rica, and will definitely be recommending this home!

A Magical Costa Rican Experience

This by far has been one of the best family vacations we had. Costa Rica is truly an amazing country. Their culture is pure and everyone is so friendly and helpful towards each other. The beautiful hacienda style villa is nestled between the forest and the ocean. It is located in the best area if you wish to explore the biodiversity of Costa Rica for both ocean and land. Everyday, from outside the villa we saw squirrel monkeys swinging from the palm trees, beautiful macaws fly in pairs almost every evening from the pool (known as Lapas in CR). The iguanas are around, our kids had fun feeding them bananas. If you are a bird watcher you will have a field day here. The diversity of the birds and their colors is truly amazing to experience. We basically experienced the Costa Rican biodiversity right from the villa. The host Sam and the property manager Khety are excellent. The communication was on point and they were extremely helpful. There is a small plaza right outside the security gate, (Edwin is the security officer, he was so kind and had a smile every time we entered or exited the gate. We loved treating him for coffee! We got amazing coffee and pastries at the Danish Valhalla bakery, you have to try their sourdough bread! So delicious! The kids wanted pizza one night, so we ordered from the La Trattoria Italiana located in the plaza as well and it was great! Venture out and experience their typical foods which are amazing! Try Soda Margarita and Almendros! 🙌 10/10!

Amazing Property - Would stay again

This is a fantastic home in a gated community with a security guard. We felt safe there and in the local area around Bejuco. There is a local market and restaurants within walking distance. Jaco is only a half hour if you want more services. Our first morning we saw capuchin monkeys, leaf cutter ants, a flock of Amazon parrots, two macaws overhead, and iguanas (of course). The beach at Bejuco was nearly deserted with incredible warm water. The property itself is adjacent to another property, but it didn't look like anyone was staying there. The pool was warm and private. The house is set up as three separate units and then a large living area. There is full kitchen, washer/dryer and BBQ grill (propane). The only (minor) thing that would need improvement is maybe updating the bathrooms. The owner was quick to respond to texts and very accommodating.We will not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

Pasamos nuestras vacaciones de Semana Santa en Villa Jardín, un lugar encantador, excelente ubicación, a dos horas del centro de San José. La casa es muy hermosa y con todas las comodidades, la vajilla y los utensilios de cocina son de primera. Nos gustó mucho que las habitaciones son privadas y en un espacio aparte de las áreas comunes. El BBQ excelente. La casa se encuentra en un residencial privado con pocas casas. A la entrada hay un Centro Comercial con Supermercado, lo que es bastante conveniente. La señal de wifi no es muy estable. Sam fue siempre muy amable y colaborador con todo lo que necesitamos. La pasamos genial .

The property is incredible. Very private and safe. It’s conveniently located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio. Saw lots of wildlife in the back yard including a pair of nesting macaws. Sam and Kathy are great hosts. We would definitely recommend renting this place.

Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très disponibles depuis le début jusqu'à la fin de l'expérience. Nous avons profité du service offert pour le racompagnement à l'aéroport et celui de l'accueil à l'arrivée, beaucoup de stress en moins. Je vous recommande fortement la location de cette villa.

Gorgeous and spacious home!!

We stayed here 3 nights and loved the house layout. Absolutely perfect for multiple couples or a larger family. We loved the pool area and all the outside critters we saw each day (huge iguanas, toads, geckos, scarlet macaws and more). Great proximity to a strip mall with wonderful dining and very cute shops. It’s close to the beach... but you have to drive. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond to help us when needed. We would come back with more family (you can rent two houses side by side)!

The villa is wonderful, spacious, peaceful and private in a spectacular location!

Wow! What a place! The villa itself is gorgeous and very well laid out. The bedrooms each have their own en suite and located away from the main building so tv can be on in the living room for example and complete tranquility in the bedroom area. Everything is connected with a lovely portico which gives the garden and pool area the effect of a beautiful large courtyard. The living room is very spacious with double height ceilings. The kitchen is well laid out with all mod cons. Air con works well. All amenities are there and the management team that looks after the house are fantastic. The view is stunning - partially over the rain forest and partially ocean view. The house is very private even though there is a Neighbour next door (and you can even rent the two houses together for larger parties. The villa is very well situated for touring central pacific coast and the local beach which is just a few minutes drive away is just spectacular- probably one of the best beaches in Costa Rica. With respect to amenities, there is a good supermarket and several restaurants in the little town center at the entrance to the private road leading up to the house. Then more restaurants on the beach and of course in Jaco.

Beautiful, quiet, gorgeous property

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Jardin. Three spacious bedrooms have separate entrances, beautiful living and outdoor spaces. On the shaded terrace, we paused to listen to the the sounds of the jungle, different during the daytime and at night. Very short driving distance - few minutes - to gorgeous beaches. On Thanksgiving Day, we were the only people on the Bejuco beach. As we rented a car, we took day trips to Manuel Antonio Park, Carara Park, Jaco, Tarcoles River. We'd love to come back!

We stayed there for Spring Break last March and absolutely loved the place. The house was fabulous in a quite, peaceful setting. Outside of a scorpion, which I am told aren't uncommon, we had no issues. Would definitely stay there again.

nice house needs a little maintenance

Overall the house was very nice it does need a little maintenance ice maker didn't work,ac in 2 of the bedrooms was not working properly,and the dinning room ac started to act up.The pool was very nice we spent a lot of time swimming, the road up to the house was a little rough you want to have a 4 wheel drive The house is also a little off the beaten path there is a market at the bottom of the hill just outside the gate,also a small café and a couple towns in either direction about 25 to 30 min away.If you are looking for a secluded getaway this place is great.the only downfalls are the issues metioned above . Lovely home , close to San José

We enjoyed very much our 3 night stay, regreting we could not stay longer. We have been travelling during our vacation time around CR for more than 5 years and it was so great to find a lovely place that is close enough to SJO to enjoy short periods of time with no need to drive 5 hours to Guanacaste! This house is very comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen where we loved to fix our own meals since we thought it wasn't worth it driving to Jacó restaurants having such a wonderful house to enjoy. The grounds are extremely beautiful and the cozy private pool was awesome to stay at dusk. The fact that the bedrooms are located in a separate wing, appart from the kitchen and social area of the house, was sooo convenient because the noise we had in the family room wouldn't bother anyone resting in the bedrooms. Every bedroom has it's own bath, wich was a plus. Bejuco beach is 3 min. away and you can get your car and stuff into any beach spot you want. Other great beaches are close to visit , like Esterillos and Manuel Antonio, one of our favorites. We never got to meet the manager but Sam, the owner, was nice and 100% responsive , he told us he is even willing to make more improvements to the house since it was recently aquired. An outdoor grill could be a great addition to have a perfect stay at this home. We will surely come back as soon as we can!

Beautiful place!

This villa is beautiful and roomy. I spend five nights here with my family and friends and we enjoyed a lot the pool and common areas. Beds are comfortable and you are supplied with everything you need... Nothing negative to say about this house!

Amazing place!

My family and me invested 3 nights at Villa Jardín... I just can say: AMAZING HOUSE! I fully recommend this place, it is in a private neighborhood and the house is just beautiful... every detail is perfect and comfortable. Kitchen, dinner room and living room are in the same area which is perfect to get the family together and rooms are just perfect for a nice rest. I will return to this place for sure.

Why they chose this property

You will know when you see it. It is spectacular. I have loved this property since I first saw it more than 10 years ago, In came on the market in 2015 and I was fortunate enough to purchase it.

In 2005, my ex-wife Nicky and I were looking for a place down south (from Canada) .. we vacationed in Costa Rica and fell in love with the country. It has so much going for it! Great climate, incredible diversity, people care about their environment, it attracts interesting people as travellers. The people are very friendly. Great healthcare. The list goes on.

We happened across the Del Pacifico Resort by chance, we were traveling down to Manuel Antonio for the last leg of a Costa Rican tour. We fell in love with the location. Secluded yet close enough to plenty of action. So much to do. We were totally impressed with the quality of the development and the vision of the developers. We didn't want to be part of just another gated community. Del Pacifico is much more inclusive.
Del Pacifico is such a great base to visit the rest of Costa Rica and with the quality of the road system improving all the time it just keeps getting better!
