My family and I had the best stay at Nicole’s place! Caretaker Lisa was amazing and helpful as well! The location was great, the house was beautiful and cozy and clean, everything was spotless and well-stocked—it was truly the best experience my family has ever had in a vacation rental! We will absolutely be back to this lovely place! THANK YOU!

Fantastic House.
It's quiet house on a quiet street with a great kitchen, dining room, plenty of beds, and firepit.
This property was just what we needed for a long weekend. It worked perfectly for my husband and our 11 month old as well as my parents. We all had our space but also felt cozy and like home!
Great location--Muskegon Lake boat launch is a block away; Lake Michigan city beach only a few blocks away. The house is very clean and well equipped. Having only one shower might be a challenge for a large group. All other features of the property are quite nice. I communicated directly with owner, who reached out on day 2 to check if our visit was going well. Our group was gathered for an event at Muskegon Yacht Club, which is very close.

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your kind words. We do have plans to add a shower in the finished basement. Come see us again, and feel free to reach out to see if it’s in yet. We look forward to hosting you again!"
This properly was perfect for our stay. The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. The host is so accommodating! We give the home high recommendations.
The house was wonderful and perfect for our family vacation! It’s conveniently located near the beach and downtown. The owner, Nicole and the property manager, Lisa were both great with communication throughout our stay even going above and beyond what we expected. The house was very clean, the basement was perfect for our kids to hangout in on those rainy days and the yard was a great size for yard games and nights around the fire pit.
We visited this home with some friends and their children for a three night stay in late June. We've been to Muskegon in the past and always find the owners and caretakers take pride in their homes, and that was no different with this home. The home is decorated and furnished with anything and everything you could think of, was clean and comfortable for nine (!) guests, and is only a short distance from our favorite place in Muskegon (the beach, of course). We couldn't be happier with the quality of the home, the location, the amenities, and the owners friendliness and communication. We even left a couple of stuffed animals behind and the owner offered to ship them back to us, which is super kind. Of all the places we've stayed in Muskegon, this may be our favorite place so far. Highly recommend!

From The Owner: "Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words. We look forward to hosting you again."
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Muskegon. We spent every day at the beach. The home was just perfect for our two families and four teenagers! We put a volleyball net in the spacious backyard and enjoyed sitting back there around the bonfire as well. The decor is modern and beautiful. Beds- so comfy! Teenagers took over the two bedroom basement level which was really nice. We would love to stay here again!
Our four kids and us stayed and it was beautiful. Just enough room, awesome fire pit, games for the kids… amazing time. Yes, the floor squeak. But they’re beautiful original hard wood that add so much character to the home.
We stayed two nights and it was perfect for our family of 6. It was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in and I’m pretty picky. It’s in a great location and close to the water. Quiet neighborhood and is on a dead end street so very little traffic. Beds were comfortable. The only two things I’d say were tiny issues for us were the wood floors are really loud when you walk on them. So at night our kids would wake up but not a huge issue for us with ages 7,9,11, and 15, but that would have been when they were younger. Also, the basement windows aren’t easily accessible if there was a fire. They don’t open and couldn’t be broken easily. With only one exit that is a concern with young kids sleeping down there. Like I said not a big deal and low likelihood of anything happening but you never know. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, it’s a very clean and beautifully decorated home.
This is by far the best-kept home we've ever rented! We had everything we needed, all the appliances and water fixtures were fairly new and working great. Our group had two families, with two kids each (aged 3-6). These kids were so spoiled - that basement is chock full of toys, books, board games. The backyard is fully fenced in so we could turn them loose without worrying, and they had toys set out for the outdoors too. More important than the house itself, the owner Nicole checked in often, and the property manager Lisa has worked hard to keep this home fully stocked - so many towels! Now, the house does not have central air. They had one window AC unit in the living room window, and each room had multiple fans keeping the air moving. The basement was dry and comfortable too. We were fine - but the weather was around 80 deg F. Any hotter weather might get uncomfortable. We could have walked to the beach, it's a 10 minute walk, but we decided to drive because of all the stuff we brought. Parking was 10 per day. New in 2025 is a free beach shuttle that takes you farther down the shore to more points of interest like the lighthouses and submarine. Guys, don't miss your chance to stay at this perfect little spot in a quiet neighborhood minutes from all the fun!

Thank you so much for your detailed review! We hope to have you back again soon! I’m working on a solution for the A/C hopefully before next summer.
Lovely little house - very close to Pere Marquette Beach and an easy drive to several hiking trails. Nicole was very helpful in making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
I rented this house for my best friend and I to have a long weekend beach getaway with our 6 kids ages ranging from 17-7. The house was perfectly described for our needs with the youngest two preferring to sleep upstairs with us and the older 4 taking the bedrooms downstairs.
Our kids enjoyed the big backyard with a lovely hammock and firepit set up with plenty of seating. Inside there were plenty of games to play while we cooked or were unwinding for the night.
The pictures of this property don't do justice to how cute this house is in person. Everything is really well thought out to provide for guests with little touches to give it a home like beach house feel.
It is very close to the beaches and there's a very nice playground in walking distance of the house. It was a perfect home away from home.
