Very nice place. Plenty of room, nicely decorated, very welcoming. Plenty of dishes etc if you want to eat there. Back yard was great and dog friendly. Front porch was nice. Neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk the dogs. Felt safe there. Best part is you are walking distance to Frosty Cove if you want ice cream.

This was the second time we’ve stayed in this house and we were not disappointed! It’s really nicely appointed with all of the conveniences including a big yard, lots of linens, towels, and fully stocked kitchen. It’s a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible to Pere Marquette and other attractions around the Muskegon area. We will definitely continue to stay there in future years!

Great home for a weekend stay

We were a little concerned with the neighborhood from the direction we came from since it was a bit industrial, but suddenly we were in a nice little residential area. The house was very clean and well appointed. All the essentials were there and it is clear the owners have done a lot of work to update the house. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the "Always Minor" property in June and were so pleased that booking "Always Lincoln" was an easy decision. We were totally comfortable, had everything we needed, and really enjoyed the outdoor sitting area. The owners thought of everything! Perfect Family Stay

This house was the perfect size for our family. The downstairs was great for our two toddlers with two twin beds and a queen for us. My parents had their own space on the main floor. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. *Bonus- Toys, games, and books that our kids loved!!! We really enjoyed the firepit, game shed, and front porch for reading. The beach was only 5 mins away and we enjoyed taking our dog to the Kruse dog beach. Highly recommend Lewis Farms for kids, so much for the kids to do. The Frosty Cove was a close bike ride for our ice cream treats. We really enjoyed all the restaurants, putt-putt, submarine tour, boat cruise, and duck pin bowling. This has been our favorite house and spot in MI so far! Thank you for a wonderful summer vacation!

Beautiful Interiors and great backyard

Our two families enjoyed this beautiful space - inside and out. The backyard was amazing - a fire pit, space for the dog to run, a shed with jenga for our kiddo to play in. The interiors were very modern and clean. Everything you could want! Sleeping was a little hard for us with folks sleeping downstairs hearing even quiet sounds upstairs (bring a sound machine if you'd got a sensitive kid), the beds being a little firm for some of us (we missed our box springs) and the neighbors playing loud music late one night (we asked them to turn it down and they totally understood). These were minor though in comparison to the beautiful space that this is! Thanks for a great stay, Brenda!!!

Close to Lake Michigan Beaches!

It was a delight for my Mom, me and my two chihuahuas to stay at this property. The bungalow was extremely clean and the fenced in back yard was an added plus. The renovation of the bungalow was very well done and everything was well stocked. The air conditioning was fantastic as it was a very hot and humid week in July! We wanted to explore the Lake Michigan beaches nearby and were not disappointed! We especially enjoyed Muskegon State Park’s beach. The only suggestion I would make is to add curtains to the kitchen window. The house next door is close by and curtains would allow for more privacy. Overall, a fantastic experience! Elaine

Perfect getaway

This is a fabulous property and the photos online do not do it justice. More importantly Brenda has spent a lot of time ensuring that her guests have everything. There's even an oops I forgot cabinet. We had everything we needed, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup wipes, ear buds etc. She left us some snacks and chocolate, coffee, creamers, tea etc. it was lovely to relax in the covered porch and have the sun warm us. The kids slept in the basement bedroom which is HUGE!. We had our dog with us and Brenda left dog bowls, blankets etc for the dog too. Very very happy with our stay. We used this home as a base for Muskegon, PJ Hoffmaster and Grand Haven state parks. Stay here without a worry. Thanks for a wonderful stay Brenda Additional info: It's driving distance to a Meijers which is a much better grocery store than the Save-a-lot and has ready sandwiches etc for your hikes.

This is our second stay in Muskegon and specifically our second stay at one of Brenda’s properties. We had an incredible vacation! We took the dogs to the beach every day since it was so close, followed by grilling and exploring the area. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed, and she even provided extra for the dogs so they would feel comfortable. We will be booking again!

Best experience we’ve had with a VRBO rental

We stayed here for our son‘s wedding along with some family. The house was absolutely beautiful, just as described with beautiful artwork, new furniture and appliances, lots of amenities, a well appointed kitchen and beautiful yard with lots of furniture and a fire pit. Overall, the experience was excellent. We have stayed in several VRBO homes and this was by far the nicest place we’ve been in. We would highly recommend this property. It was also close to the historic downtown area and the nature walk, which is a great place to go for a walk or a run, as well has Lake Michigan.

Being from the area and living here, I have a deep connection to these homes and the community. My passion is creating spaces where guests can truly relax and feel at home, no matter where they’re coming from. Each home I design is meant to offer comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging.

What makes this property unique

We transformed this home from a basic bungalow into a space that can comfortably be enjoyed by up to eight guests. The main level features two cozy bedrooms and a full bath, while the lower level now boasts a spacious bedroom, an additional full bathroom, and a small gathering space—perfect for a little separation between the two living areas.

Outside, we created an inviting space with a beautiful paver patio, all shaded under a custom-built pergola crafted by my husband. Nearby, you’ll find a shed stocked with tables and plenty of games for those relaxing moments when you’re not out exploring. We’ve also included a variety of yard games—one of my favorites is Yard Yahtzee!

And of course, no getaway is complete without a firepit. Gather around in the evenings, share stories, and make unforgettable memories under the stars.
