This is our second stay in Muskegon and specifically our second stay at one of Brenda’s properties. We had an incredible vacation! We took the dogs to the beach every day since it was so close, followed by grilling and exploring the area. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed, and she even provided extra for the dogs so they would feel comfortable. We will be booking again!

Very nice place. Plenty of room, nicely decorated, very welcoming. Plenty of dishes etc if you want to eat there. Back yard was great and dog friendly. Front porch was nice. Neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk the dogs. Felt safe there. Best part is you are walking distance to Frosty Cove if you want ice cream.

Best experience we’ve had with a VRBO rental

We stayed here for our son‘s wedding along with some family. The house was absolutely beautiful, just as described with beautiful artwork, new furniture and appliances, lots of amenities, a well appointed kitchen and beautiful yard with lots of furniture and a fire pit. Overall, the experience was excellent. We have stayed in several VRBO homes and this was by far the nicest place we’ve been in. We would highly recommend this property. It was also close to the historic downtown area and the nature walk, which is a great place to go for a walk or a run, as well has Lake Michigan.

Our stay here was fantastic. The home is ideal and we couldn’t ask for more, especially traveling with a dog. Very friendly. The location was slightly questionable, as the area appeared slightly run-down, which i expect is largely exacerbated by the off-season

I love being a host because it allows me to bring each home to life by telling a unique story based on its style. Being from the area and living here, I have a deep connection to these homes and the community. My passion is creating spaces where guests can truly relax and feel at home, no matter where they’re coming from. Each home I design is meant to offer comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging.

What makes this property unique

We transformed this home from a basic bungalow into a space that can comfortably be enjoyed by up to eight guests. The main level features two cozy bedrooms and a full bath, while the lower level now boasts a spacious bedroom, an additional full bathroom, and a small gathering space—perfect for a little separation between the two living areas.

Outside, we created an inviting space with a beautiful paver patio, all shaded under a custom-built pergola crafted by my husband. Nearby, you’ll find a shed stocked with tables and plenty of games for those relaxing moments when you’re not out exploring. We’ve also included a variety of yard games—one of my favorites is Yard Yahtzee!

And of course, no getaway is complete without a firepit. Gather around in the evenings, share stories, and make unforgettable memories under the stars.
