Welcome to "Eagle Rock". Enjoy this sunny, west-facing oceanfront home.

We have legal permission from the CRD (Capital Regional District) to share our home with you until November 2026. We have had our license to operate for many years.

Our guests love the stunning sunsets, breathtaking views, and clean ocean air. A spacious living-dining room, a huge eat-in kitchen, two KING bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs, and two more bedrooms downstairs make "Eagle Rock" enjoyable year-round for multi-generational families or groups of friends.

Watch the whales swim by while the eagles soar high from the 1000 sq ft deck upstairs and other 500 sq ft deck downstairs, or walk down to the ocean-side flagstone patio and sit on the Adirondack chairs.

This large 3000-square-foot family home is on a private one-acre lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are 2 wood-burning fireplaces, one upstairs and one down.

Enjoy comfortable dining for eight outside and 10 inside. Lounge on the decks or grill on the new red propane BBQ. Find peace in the four (or five) person Hot Tub on the upstairs deck, too.

The large eat-in kitchen has everything you need, including spices, olive oil, and aluminum foil! Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, large kitchen island with stools. There is lots of room to cook and socialize.

Downstairs, have fun in the Games Room. It has a foosball table, a 65-inch TV, a pull-out Queen-size sofa bed, and a brand-new Kitchenette.

A short stroll brings you to charming beaches, a marina, and a picnic spot.

Pender Island provides two well-stocked grocery stores, two wine and liquor stores, a pharmacy, two bakeries, and plenty of restaurants. You only need to bring your clothes.

At Brownings Marina, you can rent kayaks or charter boats, swim in the pool, or eat at the pub or restaurant.

Just a short ferry ride or an even shorter floatplane ride from Vancouver, Seattle, or Victoria, "Eagle Rock" is located in the Southern Gulf Islands on Canada's beautiful Pacific West Coast.

A Peaceful and Quiet Oasis

We loved our stay at Pender Island. Relaxing in the hot tub or on either deck and looking at the water and wildlife was just the city escape we both needed. The house had everything we needed thanks to our host Pauline. We especially appreciated the flexibility on leaving time for checkout day, so we could be comfortable at the house before taking a later ferry. While on the island, we visited the winery and cidery. The winery had a lovely setting but I would have liked to have tried red wines too. The cidery was fantastic in our experience, and we wish we’d bought a few more bottles to take home. We ate on the patio of the marina restaurant, got ice cream, and picked up sandwiches and baked goods at a local bakery/cafe. All were great and provided tasty vegetarian options. We stopped at a larger grocery store in Victoria to buy some of the Salt Island cheeses to try, since we planned to go straight to Pender Island. Glad we did. Yummy!!

Amazing getaway!

My friends and I were blown away by the beauty of this location and property. The home was spacious, the bedrooms were gorgeous, and we had a lovely time enjoying the hot tub, deck, and whale watching spot. Pauline was very helpful and communicative, provided clear instructions for all amenities and shared some great local suggestions that made for a great weekend getaway. Our best family vacation ever!

Seven of our family, ages ranging from 4 to 72, met and stayed at the beautiful Eagle Rock for a week. The home was spacious and comfortable, and our vacation would have been perfect if we only had enjoyed the incredible views. But we sampled everything Pender Island had to offer! From picking blackberries to sampling wine and cider to the last day at the Fall Festival, it was the best family vacation ever. Thanks to our wonderful host for making it easy and comfortable.

I have lived on Pender Island since 1985. I fell in love with the island the moment I stepped off the ferry because of its breath-taking scenery and wonderful people. It is still the reason I keep coming back and sharing it with friends and family like yours.

Why they chose this property

We call it "Eagle Rock" it sits high up on the rock facing the ocean West and there is stunning eagle's nest is nearby, so the eagles fly by right in front of our windows.

It is warm and inviting, and super bright! Because it faces West, there are spectacular sunsets every night.

What makes this property unique

The TWO stone fireplaces on each floor are my second favourite feature. The view is the first feature.

A large eat-in kitchen is a great place for many people to cook, sit at the island, sit at the table, and look at the stunning ocean view. The kitchen has tons of new Quartz counter space, stainless steel appliances, and every cooking utensil you need.

Another unique benefit of "Eagle Rock" is that the house loves people. There's an upstairs space for "adults" and a downstairs space for "kids" if you wish. Both floors have two bedrooms each for a total of four and plenty of bathrooms, access to outdoors, decks, and separate kitchens. Our guests have appreciated the space.
