I’ve stayed at other condos in the property and this is by far the best one. It smells so fresh when you walk in, there are a TON of amenities including kitchen items, pool toys, bath necessities. Love this place!

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay in Port Aransas. The unit was spacious, updated, and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The location is excellent with just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to returning!

Well Needed Getaway

We were looking for a long weekend break from our busy schedule. Our non-negotiable was an ocean view and we got it! The location is perfect. You are away from Port A but a quick drive into town. Beach access and pool area are nice. Super clean. The condo is decorated very nice and makes you feel like you are in a home away from home.

Nice little getaway

We felt so comfortable during our stay and hope to return soon. The condo is equipped with everything you can think of I cannot think of anything that it could be missing. The only thing is, we could not figure out the icemaker It’s very close to the beach (Walking distance through the boardwalk) And we also enjoyed the pool after a long day at the beach.

Summer beach trip

This place is the best condo we have ever stayed in. Absolutely clean, everything was very fresh and nothing smelled musty like past places we have stayed. The kitchen is so beautiful! The pool is bigger than the pictures make it look. The view is so peaceful and it’s almost as if you have the beach to yourself. The walk to the beach was the shortest we have ever had. Good place to eat is Virginia’s on the Bay.

Just like home!

This beautiful house was perfect for our family stay! Of all the places we have ever stayed this house was the most well equipped. It had all the dishes we needed, very comfortable beds, soothing beach colors and fun beach decor. Not only did it have everything we needed, it had things we didn't know we would need (washer, dryer and beach toys) and we were so grateful to find them there. The owners were easy to reach if we needed anything and great to work with. Truly a gorgeous home. We will definitely rent this home again!

The condo was well equipped for our stay. Lots of kitchen dishes and what was needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable, decor was updated in great beach colors and theme. The hosts were very responsive and so helpful. Food at the nearby restaurants was great! We loved walking the beach. I would absolutely stay here again. However, if you like the night life or want more activity, you may want to consider that Port Aransas is a 20 minute or so drive from Corpus Christi. We loved the quiet and found plenty to do.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was great for our young kids (7 mth old & 7 yr old) and my MIL (70 yr old) The condo had everything we needed. The listing was right on point and check in/check out was very through. The owners had contacted us prior to coming to let us know that the boardwalk was damage in a recent storm but there was one right next door we could use. The condo had wash stations set up so we could rinse off since their boardwalk was closed. The owners were very easy to get a hold of and responded in a timely manner. The condo its self has been updated and is very well kept. We thought it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Vacation for All Ages

Beautiful condo. Incredible views! It was the perfect space for our family vacation. We were a group of 5 adults and two young grandsons ages 3 and 6 from Austin, NYC, and London, a rare and wonderful opportunity for us all to be together. The three bedrooms and three baths gave everyone their own space. The beds were all very comfortable and the entire unit well appointed. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. We were on the second floor with a lovely balcony and easy stair and elevator access. The condo is directly on the beach with plenty of parking and its own secured pedestrian boardwalk that made for quick and easy access to the beach. The pool was a huge hit with the boys, especially the broad shallow area. They easily spent as much time there as on the beach! We greatly appreciated that the unit had a washer and dryer and a good supply of beach towels. There were also a couple of beach chairs and toys, a boogie board, and water noodles. A nice supply of board games provided family fun in the evening. Although we cooked in a couple of nights, we had a great time discovering the many excellent but casual local restaurants, Snoopy's being one of them. The boys had an amazing time on the Red Dragon Pirate Cruise which we highly recommend! Being originally from the east coast of Florida, we all felt right at home in this small, very friendly beach town of Port Aransas. We hope to make this lovely condo our regular beach home away from home!

Spring Break 2023

The unit itself was really, really nice - 3 bedrooms (two queen beds, king bed in master and each with its own bathroom), very nicely decorated and updated, beautiful open view of the Gulf, washer and dryer, etc . I would give the unit 4.8 stars, but I am giving our "Stay" 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. This property is isolated from the other resort-style properties (e.g. Cinnamon Shore) with no beach access via golf cart. While there is a very nice boardwalk going from the pool to the beach, it's for pedestrians only. 2. One of the primary means of travel once you're on Mustang Island is golf cart. You can drive a car on the beach and park there with a parking permit, but tons of people drive golf carts on the beach and then back to their condo via wide boardwalks that are property-specific, and it's not possible to do this at Grand Caribbean and also keep the golf cart at your condo overnight. Golf carts cannot be driven on the island highway that connects all properties - it's illegal, but would be lunacy to drive a golf cart on that 2-lane highway. 3. The condo owners were very friendly and communicative ahead of the trip, providing tips and guidance. I did not talk to property management. 4. We had teenagers with us who had friends staying at Cinnamon Shore north. It's about 1/2 mile north on Hwy 361. My kids spent almost the entire time there because of everything available to do and LOTS of younger teens from other places. Cinn Shore also had a heated swimming pool. 5. There was active construction of a new boardwalk right next to our unit which made for lots of noise and vibration while they installed the support beams. 6. The weather was not great. While we did get a couple of sunny days, it was still cool and too windy to fish or enjoy the Gulf. The last two days were miserable with 50F temps, gail winds and misty or overcast all day. 7. I couldn't find a grill for grilling chicken or burgers. The property should add a couple near the pool.

Lovely Girls’ Beach Trip

Lovely condo with big rooms and lots of space. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Gorgeous big pool with private boardwalk to the beach. Lots of dunes surround the building. Clean and well kept up. Will be back! Really is a perfect Port A rental.

35 year Wedding Anniversary trip

We stayed at the Ocean Sweet condo for 4 nights celebrating our Anniversary with my Wife's Sister and Brother in law. This was by far the best rental we have stayed in. The layout was perfect and the decorating and finishes were beautiful, not to mention the view from the balcony. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was a nice touch to have water bottles and snacks waiting upon our arrival, very thoughtful. Enjoyed a quite, relaxing, very comfortable stay. Just perfect! We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home.
