About this property

WV1 Stunning Contemporary Beach Villa w/ Private Pool, 50-Mile Ocean Views

This spacious and luxurious 3200-square-foot villa features an abundance of glass to capitalize on the breathtaking views. 50-mile, 180-degree beach and ocean views spread out in front of you from every major room. The house has two master bedroom suites with king beds and ocean views, and two guest bedroom suites with queen beds. Every bedroom has total privacy, with luxurious en-suite baths and well separated entrances off long hallways.

The spectacular great room, with 20-foot ceilings and a wall of tall glass Nana doors, opens onto a vast patio with private infinity pool (unheated) looking out over the beach and ocean. The elegant dining room shares these views, as does the modern gourmet kitchen. The house features a complete wet bar overlooking the great room, and an adjacent office area with desk, WIFI and landline phone. Travertine marble floors, Hansgrohe & Duravit Fixtures, and custom furnishings help complete the experience of luxury at this exceptional house.

Other amenities in this villa include a full laundry room with washer and dryer and ironing board, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, charcoal grill, free high speed internet with WIFI, Blue Ray player with in-wall surround sound audio/video in living room, and acres of closet space. Light-touch housekeeping is provided every other day.

It is a short 3-minute walk down the hill from the villa to the beach. The mile-long, pristine, pink-sand beach which this house overlooks is almost always deserted. The beach is perfect for swimming, with crystal-clear water and a smooth sandy bottom. The surf is moderate at this location, because a large barrier reef protects the beach. There are beach chairs on the beach.

This villa is located in Sky Beach Club. It comes with full access to the Sky Beach Club facilities and amenities. Sky Beach Club is a small club with accommodations for a maximum of 46 guests, so it will never be crowded or busy. It has an excellent fine-dining restaurant, Pascal's, and a spectacular beachside infinity-edge pool with poolside service all day long--lunch, dinner, drinks--and a swim-up cocktail bar.

In addition to the Club pool, this villa has a private pool too. Please note that the villa's private pool and spa are not heated. Sky Beach Club is not a full service resort. Front desk, gym, spa, room service are not available.

Additional charges apply for parties of more than 8. If you have more than 8 guests, we have up to two rollaway beds available upon request.

Please note that the driveways in Sky Beach Club are all unpaved, so consider renting an SUV or Jeep-type vehicle, so you don’t have to worry about bumpy roads.

GOVERNORS HABOUR:

The town of Governors Harbour, five minutes away by car, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.

ELEUTHERA:

Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The island, home to just 8000 residents, is famous for being safe. The snorkeling, diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. You can rent power boats, sailboats, sea kayaks, bikes. You can have a charter captain take you out for excursions of various types. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes.

Rates are for the first 8 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night per guest.

Spring break
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time on the island, but it's disheartening to see the development in decline. Hopefully, someone can revive this property given its excellent location. Thanks!

Amazing view
We enjoyed our time in the Bahamas, wonderful food, beaches and people! However the property was rough! Hard to swallow paying that much money on a run down house and a rough road on the property. I’ve addressed these concerns with the management but have yet to of heard back from them. Long story short, view is amazing and the beds are comfortable. Pictures of home online are not current.

Beautiful View with problems
The house is very nice and large with breathtaking views. Unfortunately there were numerous maintenance issues. The dishwasher flooded the kitchen and living area (twice) and maintenance didn’t feel it could be repaired and would just recommend it be replaced. After using all the beach towels to mop up the water, there was difficulty getting the washing machine to work. After much trial and error we were finally able to get power to the washing machine. The master bathroom tub also leaked on the floor after using it and maintenance said they thought the pipe underneath had been fixed and advised not to use it anymore. Then we noticed water damage on our things on an entry table and realized the air conditioning unit above it was leaking and was warping the table. We turned off that unit and reported it. The kitchen has new dishes/pots/pans, but several stove burners do not work and there are no oven mitts. Despite all of these issues, we still enjoyed our stay. We just don’t think the property managers have maintained the property well. Also, as noted in the description and from other guests, the road from the house to the beach is treacherous. Another indication of poor maintenance to the property.

Disappointing Experience - Unfriendly Atmosphere and Poor Facilities
I recently stayed at Sky Beach Club for 9 days, paying a substantial amount of $15,000. Unfortunately, my stay was far from satisfactory. The property lacked essential cookware, making it difficult to prepare meals. Moreover, the people on the island, including the restaurant staff, were unfriendly. When we caught our own lobster, we were charged the same price as if we had eaten the ones they provided. The island itself was poorly maintained, with trash and neglect everywhere. I recommend avoiding Eleuthera and instead choosing Spanish Wells for a friendlier and better-maintained island experience. Note: This review is based on my personal experience, and others may have differing opinions.

perfect location!
The location of this home on the island was ideal. Super close to Governor's harbor where we made frequent trips to town for shopping and restaurants. Pascals right down the hill with the swim up bar was a perfect compliment to this home. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was a perfect layout for two families. The towels were nice and soft and so were the beds and linens. The living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable but we spent most of our time out by the pool. The kitchen is spacious but not equipped well for cooking. The pans and utensils need some updated. But we made do and did plan on eating out a good bit so it worked for us. Overall we had an amazing time at this home.
