Positioned at the heart of the resort & operational every day of the week, our central location ensures that we deliver top-notch customer service throughout your stay. With over 25 years of experience, we take pleasure in welcoming guests back to Tybee, fostering memorable experiences for all who visit.

This expanded suite is equipped with a king bedroom, separate living room with a sleeper sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a gourmet meal at home.

These unique suites offer a quiet interior location without a balcony or view but do provide access to all of the resort’s amenities for unbeatable beach prices!

All of our condos have elevator access. Covered parking under the buildings is optional. This condo also offers washer and dryer, full kitchen with all full size appliances, linens, private WiFi connection, and cable.

Our resort encompasses an entire oceanfront block and allows for the easiest beach and pool access on Tybee. The brand new pools include a large heated pool for year round enjoyment, as well as an even larger family-friendly sloping entry pool. Outdoor lounge seating completes the pool area along with a walk-up bar and restaurant at the onsite restaurant, The Deck Bar and Kitchen. Air-conditioned bathrooms and outdoor showers at the beach entrance make your visit even more enjoyable.

If you would like to travel with your dog(s), we allow up to two dogs, with the addition of a one time $100 pet fee per dog.

Beachside Colony Resort & Vacation Rentals offers the only on-site rental office on the island, open 7 days a week, and ready to help you with any information or tour booking that you need. Our resort is located on the beach, right in the middle of Tybee Island, a spot that puts it one mile from the pier, the hub of the island’s shopping and nightlife, and one mile from the Tybee Light Station, one of only 7 colonial-era lighthouses still in use in America. Directly across the street is Tybee's Memorial Park and our YMCA. This park features tennis, volleyball, basketball, and an amazing playground for kids of all ages as well as picnic and grill areas which can host small to large family gatherings. The island's library is also just across the street.

There are many restaurants within a short walking- or driving-distance, but after a long day on the beach, we invite you to enjoy The Deck Beach Bar and Grill; not only is it right in the middle of the resort, it is the only true beachfront dining experience on Tybee!

Listing was described as an “expanded one bedroom” but the room that was called a bedroom did NOT have any windows. In the living area there is one window crammed in the corner that looked out on the dark deadend corner of the exterior hallway. The property manager was nice though and made things right.

Wonderful spot for family beach vacation!

Enjoyed the trip so much! Stayed in a one bedroom unit with my spouse. My daughter and her family stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Our unit had all the comforts of home. The tile flooring and area rug need updating or a good deep cleaning in living area but otherwise the unit was clean. The unit had no windows except one small window in the living area that looked out to a wall. We jokingly called it “the cave”—but I’ve never slept so well! It was dark, cool, and quiet. My daughter’s unit was spectacular. It had been newly remodeled and had a lovely balcony. The beach was lovely—very clean and a good crowd. Same with the resort. The pool was full of children, but not a rowdy crowd. We enjoyed the restaurant on premises and ate there several times. The island had plenty of good restaurants and Savannah was just a short drive so we visited there a few times too. So easy to fly in and out of Savannah. I highly recommend this location for a family beach vacation.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was not what we expected. The air condition leaked down the wall and onto the floor and was extremely loud the first night. Maintenance came to drain the pump. This didn't fix the problem. A technician came the next day while we were away. It wasn't leaking anymore but still extremely loud when the air was running. When we returned to the condo, the door was left unlocked and open. Thankfully all our belongings were left untouched. At 4am and 4:15am on Sunday morning we were awakened to someone trying to get in the door. At 7:15am Sunday morning we heard what we thought was someone in our kitchen dumping out ice but it was an adjoining room(what we thought was a owner's locked closet) right outside the bedroom door. There is no mention of the adjoining room in the listing description. We were SO freaked out by all the events of the weekend at the condo, we packed our belongings asap and left. I would not stay here again nor do I recommend this resort.

While it was clean and had everything we needed, we were a little disappointed that there were no exterior windows that allowed any view or sunlight. The unit was also connected with a thin door to another unit that allowed noise from the other unit to be easily heard. Those two things were a bit negative but we had a great stay.

We were able to enjoy all the oceanfront amenities at Beachside Colony with a more budget friendly price. This condo does not have a balcony so you save quite a bit compared to other condos at Beachside Colony. We were out and about on the island all day enjoying the beach and new oceanfront pools, we also enjoyed biking around Tybee, so we only needed a place to sleep. Since the kitchen had everything we needed, we did decide to stay in for breakfast. It was great to get out of the traffic in Atlanta and walk on the beach! The sunrise is a must see. The staff at Beachside Colony made our stay even better. The room was in great shape and they were very helpful when we had questions about the island and onsite restaurant, The Deck.With such a budget friendly price, we plan to come back every 2 to 3 months for a "re-charge"!

The pictures on the listing do not exactly match the actual space. The listing says it can accommodate 4 people however the sleeper sofa was very small and so uncomfortable that it was easier to sleep directly on the love seat size sofa. Upon entering the room we noticed that the wall AC unit made a very loud noise every few minutes and continued to do so the entire stay. At one point there was a moist black substance that blew out of the unit and onto the floor. We were tucked way back into a corridor and non of the hallway lights were working. We did ask the maintenance man to check on those and it was not taken care of till a day or so later (only 1 bulb replaced out of 4). The check in process was very easy and the location was great. I wish that the listing made note that the pool was in fact under construction because that would have made me choose a different place to stay. I had a child with me who was really looking forward to swimming in the heated pool that was noted on the website of the facility. I would recommend putting information out for guests on how to use the AC and use the WiFi because we were not able to log in with the password given (there was no direction on what WiFi to connect to as there were many to choose from). We will be back to tybee but will most likely choose another location to stay.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
