About this property

1BR Woodland Hideaway - Downtown and Hiking Nearby

Summary:
Woodland Hideaway is the epitome of a peaceful mountain cabin getaway. Nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak with breathtaking mountain views, the Hideaway cabin will make you feel like it’s the only place you should be in this moment. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath bungalow is perfect for a romantic weekend for two, or a much-needed solitary retreat.

The Space:
Located in beautiful Woodland Park, just a 15-minute drive to awe-inspiring Pikes Peak soaring to an elevation of 14,115 feet. Enjoy the best of all worlds: a sense of solitude + easy proximity to exhilarating outdoor activities and the lively offerings of Colorado Springs Manitou Springs and Woodland Park.

Warm, cozy, inviting, romantic and even ‘snuggly’ perfectly describe the look and feel of the Woodland Hideaway cabin.

Located in the center of Woodland Park makes it easy access for all conveniences yet you will feel as though you are a world apart. Step out the front door with a cup of steaming hot coffee and take in a deep breath of fresh mountain air as you stand in awe of the incredible Pikes Peak View. The pink glow of the sunrise bouncing off the Peak feels like a a once in a lifetime experience you will get to repeat day after day.

The aspen, evergreens and pines will inspire you to walk the ‘path less traveled’ as you mosey around the yard, the neighborhood and even the local area. This might be the spot where you get that long awaited inspiration to make your dreams a reality.

Completely renovated, the cabin world looks at this one for inspiration! Perfect for a weekend of soul searching or as a romantic weekend for two. Sit back and relax on the front porch rocking chairs and while away the afternoon as you listen to the birds chirp and the refreshing mountain air whisper in the wind.

Inside is open style living with the kitchen, dining and living space all coming together for the most welcoming feel. All are fully updated and whimsically decorated with a cozy mountain, bear and flyfishing theme to remind you where you and what you should be doing!

Curl up on the leather loveseat, put your feet up on the oversized ottoman, and snuggle under a warm blanket as you watch a movie on the mounted TV with streaming apps. Don’t forget your toasty warm beverage to complete the evening! You’ll find a coffee maker and tea kettle in the kitchen.

The modern yet rustic kitchen offers a full-size oven/range, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. We’ve provided little details that cooks will appreciate, including chef’s knives and special cooking utensils. There is plenty of room to create your evening dining masterpiece, plus a rolling kitchen cart for additional prep space. An ‘old fashioned style ‘crank’ table and stools provide a charming place to dine, sip a glass of wine and savor your meal.

The comfy bedroom offers a queen size bed, mini dresser, and closet for storage. Attached, you will find a charming bathroom with a pedestal sink and a large walk- in shower with floor to ceiling tile featuring authentic river rock accents.

A back door leads to a fully-fenced yard, a quaint deck with a two person dining set and plenty more fresh mountain air. The yard is also accessible through a gate from the driveway.

Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit. This home is managed by a local vacation rental specialist, and there’s a sense of quality and care that’s worthy of your 5-star review.

This was like a converted shed with an add on. Low ceilings. No view like advertised and the bed was awful. I would not recommend it to others. Had seven very unrestful nights there. Could not find another opening after arriving or would’ve stayed elsewhere.

The Perfect Hideaway
If you're looking for a comfy place to rest after a day of hiking or adventuring, this is the place! With a full fridge, stove and sink we were able to make our own meals and help us save money. Our host was very responsive and helpful in our emails. If you prefer to not feel crowded, we did feel secluded while being minutes away from downtown! I highly suggest and would reserve again!

Woodland Park retreat
The initial booking process was ok, two days after booking we decided to stay an extra night. Communication with multiple people through Hoste was difficult and confusing. I was addressed by the wrong name, multiple times, even through reply emails that had my name in them. The date for the extra night was incorrect in several emails even though I included it my communication.
