Hi Kelly we are Glad you enjoyed your stay. We did want to let you know that though we communicated the pet policy to you and you indicated that it was fine, it was clear that your dog was on the furniture and extra cleaning/laundering was necessary. That aside, all was well.
Very peaceful and super cute cabin. Yay for the bathroom exhaust fan! LOL.

Thank You for choosing the best lil bunkhouse. I did want to let you know I was unable to select 5 Stars for cleanliness due to the sink full of dirty dishes left at checkout. Our checkout list (inthe listing and the cabin book), asks that dishes be washed, dried and put away. The rest of the cabin was in great shape.
Our stay was everything, as advertised. Host was very informative about finding the location, etc. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing! Our doggos even felt right at home!
Was not looking for anything in a busy area and the Bunkhouse was perfect for that. Quiet surroundings and a clean comfortable cabin. Lee was great in answering any questions prior to our stay! The town of Divide is higher in altitude than Colorado Springs so in late June the 15 degree temperature difference was a perfect cool down from the 90 degree heat. Close to many of the attractions as well.
I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed this property!!! The owners are amazing!! For someone who works for Hilton Hotels it is easy for me to see the attention to detail that is needed for a guest to have a memorable experience!! This bunk house checks off everything for the ultimate Colorado experience!!!
This was such a nice getaway from Denver. Very easy to get to, this little cabin was perfect. The property and area are beautiful and communication from the hosts was perfect.
We had an incredible stay this weekend here at the property. Lee and Jeanne were very kind, accommodating, and provided everything we needed for our trip. We brought our 2 dogs who loved walking the trails on the property. Hospitality was great and we would love to come back!
Property was nice, cabin was very clean. Easy check in and check out. Directions given by host to get to the property were extremely detailed and made it easy to find the cabin.

Cabin was left in great shape except for the smell of marijuana which is not allowed anywhere on our property. So surprising as the policy was communicated and agreed to up front.
We are empty nesters with 7 grown children and 5 grandchildren spread as far apart as Washington state to Ohio. We love to have our family here and our set up allows us to accommodate them and still provide space for them to get-away! Lee is an Architect/GC and the brains behind the renovations you will see here. Jeanne worked as a Social Worker for many years but "retired" to Hospitality Manager to make your stay enjoyable :)
Why they chose this property
This property is not only good for your stay as individuals, couples or families but it is also good for group vacations. We have 3 cabins available for rent and we do host groups that want to vacation together yet enjoy their own space.
What makes this property unique
Private and quiet yet close to many major attractions in our area.
