Kouya is a detached private house 18 minutes on foot from Takayama Station Despite being in a quiet residential area popular tourist facilities are within walking distance It is the best place to fully enjoy Hida Takayama which is full of highlights In addition Kitayama Park which is ideal for a walk in each season the quaint Enako River and the Higashiyama Temples are nearby / The place is a twostory private house in a narrow alley Look for the wooden sign When you enter the entrance you will find a tsuboniwa with a lantern Go through the dark blue curtains of Koya to the entrance There is a JapaneseWestern mixed living kitchen in the main space on the 1st floor The furniture of the women who have lived here is left as it is and it is a space where customers can relax and talk You can take a rest in a pure Japanese bedroom
