We had an awesome time this past weekend. Very clean place and everything great. Nice views and plenty of room for 8 adults! Would definitely stay here again!
The house is very well equipped with everything: towels, blankets, toys, games, paper goods, kitchen stuff, kayaks, bikes, etc. Access to the beach and the park nearby are convenient and fun for all ages. Thank you!!!
This is our second time staying at this property. Great location and had everyone we needed. Everything is well thought out and it makes it easy to enjoy them beach, the park next door, and the surrounding area.
Looking forward to booking it next year for a third trip to the UP!
Great location and beautiful beach. The lake is gorgeous, clean with a nice sandy bottom. Friendly contact manager and the house was stocked with everything you could need. Also a great layout for the house so everyone had their own space yet could be together. Slightly disappointed with the exterior maintenance of the house; poor front window condition took away from the lake view, taped screen door, deck floor boards are soft, and really needs pressure washed to remove dead bugs, cobwebs, and some dirt. However, overall was pleased with the experience and the cleanliness where it mattered the most; the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. We’d stay here again.
It was not excellent but it was good. It could have been cleaner - closet shelves and baseboards were not clean. The garage where things were stored was not very clean.
Nice and clean place. Only downside the spring lake fly hatch making the outside space unbearable to use and a ton of flies coming into the house as soon as you open any outside door. A screened in patio would help tremendously with enjoying the nice deck and beautiful lake view during the spring.
All three siblings got together with our kids. This house was perfect. The beachfront location was great for the kids to play in the water, and any early-rising adults got to watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee on the deck. The main floor was great for big family gatherings and the basement TV area was perfect for when the kids wanted some time of their own.
Communication with the management company and owner was top-notch.
We would stay here again.

Loved the lakes beach front. The water was crystal clear. Our family enjoyed using the available kayaks and lifejackets available. They never wanted to come out. The house was nice, however, it was a very warm day when we arrived and the only A/C was on the main floor only. The top level was very warm. Made sleeping uncomfortable. Other than that, it was an enjoyable vacation. We would visit there again
Beautiful Lakeside property! All kitchen appliances and bathroom amenities were provided. We didn’t need to bring anything! Outstanding outdoor recreation and equipment!! Property owners were fantastic with communication! Stay here. You won’t regret it!!!

A week full of memories!!
We had such a great stay! The beach was expansive. We brought 4-square and the kids played that endlessly. The water was still warm enough to enjoy the first few days we were there. The kids loved all the kayaks, canoes, solo stove, and bikes that the owner graciously provided! So many amenities!! It was so nice to not have to pack beach chairs! It was the perfect time of year since the bedrooms are not air conditioned, so we actually got chilly in the evenings. There is a small park with public beach access right next door, but there were never more than 30 people there, and that was only on the weekend. Otherwise it was very quiet. There isn’t much to do in the surrounding town, so plan to bring your own food! We took a rainy day to explore Door County (2 hour drive). There is some fun shopping there. Overall we were so well cared for and hope to be back!
This is a beautiful property in a great location. Everything went smoothly and check in was a breeze. The house had plenty of seating on the back deck and there was a smokeless fire place to use on the beach. The house was very clean and had extra toiletries on hand. The area has has multiple good options for dining, mostly in the Marinette area. Multiple golf courses in area, my recommendation would be north shore golf club which is 5 minutes away. Great prices and staff. Also, we met the property manager, Alyvia, when we arrived and she was extremely helpful with any questions we had about the area. I would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend staying at this location. Also, don't bring a thing! Hosts well stocked home, along with very generous with toys for kids. 7 adults and 2 year old were perfectly spaced out. Loved the little detailed notes. Loved the close proximity to the park. Also.. we left a puzzle downstairs. 'Magic Shift THE FOREST FEAST'. We had a blast putting it together and was in awe on the outcome. Only took us a few days, a couple hours each evening to get it together.
I wish we would be back in this area again. Would book again!
Thank you for the beautiful home and generosity!
Almost perfect for a family vacation! The kids especially, loved the beach and bay and awesome memories were made! Rachel, the manager, was wonderful! Very helpful! Two things that prevented me from giving this property a 5 star rating, first, there is no central air. There’s an air conditioner in the living room that kept that area comfortable, however the bedrooms, especially the upstairs bedroom, was very uncomfortable! They had fans that helped but not much. The last inconvenience, no tv in the large living area. There’s a small tv in the basement which has a small seating area but not big enough to accommodate our whole family. We didn’t go on vacation to watch tv, so this wasn’t a deal breaker but watching a movie together after a day of fun and sun is always nice.
Our family spent the weekend here with our kids and their grandparents. The house is nice, but the best part of this place is that it is literally on Lake Michigan and it is so beautiful. There is so much waterfront there with long sandy beach. Even in the winter, we were able to enjoy walks outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there and there's a big living room with plenty of seating, although it is not quite as big as it looks in the photos. The master bedroom is on the second floor and there are 2 bedrooms on the first floor and one in the basement. The master bedroom is large and beautiful, the bed is comfy. I have a few comments that other renters may find hopeful. The 2 first floor bedrooms are just ok, the mattresses are not as comfortable as the one in the master bedroom. The basement kids' room has bunk beds and a large space for kids to play. There is a tv in the basement but only a love seat and an armchair so we couldn't all watch a movie unless most of us sat on the floor. Despite these details, overall, it was fair price, really clean, had everything we needed, and we had a great time and would visit again.
We are just back from an awesome week staying in this well-stocked and perfectly located home. The views from inside and from the deck are incredible. This is a bay beach, so a bit calmer than we are used to, but wow, so beautiful. One day the water is as smooth and calm as glass, and the next, the waves may have white caps. The sand bar goes way out, so you can walk 50 yards and still be ankle deep in places. The town has a few select restaurants and coffee shops, but overall it feels more for locals than vacationers. If you are looking to fish, we caught some massive smallmouth near the dam (wade out on the left side of the bridge and work the bank with a yellow rooster tail). Overall, this was the ideal break for our group of 8. Everyone was comfortable, though the upstairs main bedroom suite was too hot. I'd suggest a small window unit up there during summer months. We loved all the extra bikes (4), canoes (2), kayaks (2 adult, 2 kids). Also, the solo stove for fires on the beach was an impressive touch. This owner does not skimp on the amenities. If you've envisioned a relaxing private lake-front home with a private beach (though just down from a public one) this is truly a special find!
It was everything we wanted plus more- on the beach, amazing sunrises, tons of amenities (fire pit, canoe, kayaks, bicycles, plenty of beach/deck chairs), the abundant windows allowed spectacular views, and the proximity to Henes Park was ideal for walking.
Quiet, private, and great gathering spaces inside and out. The beach and sandy cove are very nice and clean. Home is well organized with labels on every drawer and cabinet so no searching the house for necessities. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The circle driveway makes easy access vehicles and trailers. It was perfect for our needs and would rent again in this area.
