***As of March 9, 2024, the HOA informed us that they will be shutting down the indoor pool/hot tub area as of April 8th.
The work involves draining the pool (3 days); erecting scaffolding (1 full day) and then having the contractor come in and do the removal of the existing baffles and installation of the new baffles. The contractor estimates this could take 4-5 weeks to complete the phase of the work. Once the work is complete, the scaffolding will be removed; the pool will be filled back up, chemicals balanced and water re-heated. This takes a minimum of 3 days. They estimate the pool and hot tub will not be accessible until at least the second week of May if not later. All involved will do their best to ensure the work is done in as timely a fashion as possible, but there are factors that may be out of our control that could change the timeline. ***


Everyone loves to stay at Ocean Dunes! By far the best amenities of any condo complex on Pleasure Island. "After Dune Delight" is a large Three Bedroom and Three Full Bathroom townhome style property with not just one, but two beautiful decks to enjoy while you are here.

Imagine waking up beside the ocean, dolphins are playing just offshore, and you know this is going to be a magical day. Bring your favorite coffee pod to pop into the Keurig before you head outside to soak in the warm sunrise and the awesome sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Maybe you'll head straight down to the beach, or perhaps you prefer to stop by the onsite gym for a quick workout or even a game of pickup basketball. Multiple pools will greet you, both indoors and out. There are grilling stations, a playground, and even a hot tub at the rec center. At Ocean Dunes, you will find plenty of things to do for everyone in the family.

This home features one King bedroom, one with a Queen, and the third with two Full beds. If that's not enough, there's a sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen is modern and equipped with plenty of items to prepare meals for your crew, or choose to dine out at one of our fantastic restaurants. There's something to please every palate. Make sure you plan a visit to historic Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium, as both are quite close by. Perhaps you'll want to take a scenic ferry ride over to Southport for some shopping and a fabulous lunch. Whatever you do, you'll make lots of wonderful memories that will have you wanting to come back again and again.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events.
