***As of March 9, 2024, the HOA informed us that they will be shutting down the indoor pool/hot tub area as of April 8th.
The work involves draining the pool (3 days); erecting scaffolding (1 full day) and then having the contractor come in and do the removal of the existing baffles and installation of the new baffles. The contractor estimates this could take 4-5 weeks to complete the phase of the work. Once the work is complete, the scaffolding will be removed; the pool will be filled back up, chemicals balanced and water re-heated. This takes a minimum of 3 days. They estimate the pool and hot tub will not be accessible until at least the second week of May if not later. All involved will do their best to ensure the work is done in as timely a fashion as possible, but there are factors that may be out of our control that could change the timeline. ***

The bathroom has a stand up, tiled shower with a glass door and a single vanity with a Bluetooth mirror. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, deck access, and a television in the room as well. The bathroom has a shower tub combination with tiled walls surrounding and a large double sink vanity with a Bluetooth mirror. The spacious primary bedroom has a King bed, television, sitting chair, and sliders that lead out to the deck. The en suite bathroom has a massive barnwood style, tiled shower and double sink vanity with Bluetooth mirror. Off of the primary bedroom is a game room with arcade games, large connect four, monopoly rug, and other fun surprises!

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. *Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events.
