From the owner: "Darrel is a treasure, who truly enjoys Historic Architecture! Several times we have spoken about the Historic Old West End and all the marvelous renovations! Stay with us often!"
I was in town for a long weekend and needed something simple but with a little extra space. The home was very clean and easy access to all of the area amenities I was visiting

From the owner: "Super visit. Super guests! Stay with us again. Always welcome!"
We loved our stay! The historic home was in amazing shape and the decor was fantastic. I really appriceated all of the antiques and the historic preservation. I found the beds comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and updated. The porch is located on the side of the home facing another home so its not super private, but still nice. We would definitely stay here again.
this house is amazing. the owner has a large selection of collectibles/antiques/memorabilia on display throughout the house. every time i would walk into a room, i would notice more things that i had not previously noticed. owner seems like an awesome person, and has been great to deal with. i have already booked a second stay when i go back to Danville in a couple weeks. highly recommend this place.
Great place to visit, especially if you love history. Everything went smoothly with check in and the house was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend it.
What a great house! The owner was so kind and shared stories about the re-do as well as the history of the home and town. We will definitely be back and look forward to another stay at this lovely home!

Lovely Home
A lovingly restored home. It's comfortable and inviting. Great location in the Old West End. The beds are so comfy and the everywhere in the house there's something interesting to look at. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed at this property and it was awesome!! We brought everything we thought we needed but it already had everything!! The host is very helpful with information you may need about Danville! We would definitely stay again!
We live near Richmond, VA and our son is in Charlotte, NC. Danville split the difference for a quick visit. This house was perfect. The craftsmanship is superb and it is obvious Lawrence takes great pride in his work. The location allowed us to walk and visit while learning about the neighborhood, visiting the history museum and shopping in a neighborhood market. We were only a few minutes car ride from nice restaurants and the river walk. We will definitely stay here again.
