Lake side retreat

We had planned a week on Lake Taneycomo for fishing and exploring Branson. Unfortunately for us it rained heavily for 4 out of 5 days. Fortunately Lakeside Escape was well equipped for these conditions. We really enjoyed the hot tub while watching the storms pass, and spent time in the kitchen shack preparing wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen. During a dry spell we spent a few hours kayaking the lake and exploring on the provided kayaks. The kayak dock made loading and unloading from the kayaks a breeze. Unfortunately fishing from the dock is a bit weedy, but there are several clear spots a very short drive away. The house accommodations we fantastic, and well equipped. The addition of hot and cold beverages and snacks was a welcome surprise. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Ms. Milly’s Lake House

Ms. Milly left the sweetest gifts and snacks when we first arrived. This place was exactly what we needed to get away and decompress. The location was easy to find, the place was so clean and was more than what we could of imagined. The bed was extra comfy! I’m actually gonna reach out to Ms. Milly too find out what the brand is, so I can order one for our house. We loved this place so much!! The hot tub was absolutely wonderful to relax at the end of our fun-filled days! Ms. Milly has any and everything you could ever need or want, and an abundance of towels, rags, coffee, drinks, chips, ect. We DEFINITELY will be going back!! ❤️

Miss Millie was a God send!!!!

This review is for the owner, Miss Millie and her apt. The apt is amazing!!! So clean, the porch area with hot tub is awesome. The out door kitchen is a lost amenity that most people haven't experienced. It's a common sight in the south to keep the house cool in the summer. This space was built in memory of her late husband, who grew up with an outdoor kitchen. I'm sure he would have loved it as much as we did. Now for the best part of the place. Mildred Green, "Miss Millie". This woman makes you fill at home the moment you arrive with snacks and fresh cookies, cold drinks and all the information you need to have a great stay. Including wifi pass code, directions to local places, restaurants, and things you can use on the property. Such as: the kayaks, the boat dock and fishing poles. Bait is available in the small fridge on the back porch as well. Since we were staying there because we were working in Forsyth, our days were long and hot. I had a heat stoke one after and had my employees bring to the apt to cool off and rest. After I got there, I became seriously ill and was confined to a fetal position in the bed with excruciating pain in my stomach. I was barely able to call Millie and ask for an ambulance. She was there within 2 minutes and had the ambulance on the way already. Millie went way way way above and beyond to help and had the apartment cleaned and sanitized before I was released from the hospital that night. Most people wouldn't have did what she did, believe me. In closing, my experience with Millies place, was absolutely fantastic. I'll give 100 out of 5 stars. You will love thisplace and Millie, I promise you!!!!
