Our house is nestled in this community of farmland with gorgeous views of the Minas Basin to wake up too. Make it your headquarters for days filled with hiking, beach walks, wine tours, historical sites, farm markets and a variety of restaurants to eat at.

We rented this vacation house for family visiting from Europe and they loved it. Perfect house that has everything you need, and top location with beautiful view of the Minas Basin, for a reasonable price. Clean and bright house in quiet and relaxed surroundings. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Warmly recommend this vacation rental.

Cottage in Canning

We loved the area and were able to fit in day trips to Tatamagouche and Peggy’s Cove from the cottage. It was also convenient for taking the ferry from Digby on our way home to Ontario. Would use the cottage again.

Blomidon return to NS

Quiet and tucked away, we got lots of rest, with short day trips out to local towns. The Lookoff and icecream are a must do. Treat yourself to lunch or dinner in Canning- cute little village.

Lovely Stay

Lovely stay close to Blomidon beach and Cape Split. Would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to check out Wolfville and the surrounding area. Susan was responsive and kind throughout our stay! Loved seeing the cows and deer wander by outside. Couch could use an update as it is quite uncomfortable.

Just what we needed

Our family loved the Blomidon view, the bay breeze, the quiet calm, and the neighbourly cows who were pastured next door. The facilities were just what we needed for a comfortable stay.and included great cooking and laundry facilities and wifi for our teen. We were especially appreciative to the wonderful host who was so kind and gracious when the biggest floods in the province shut down the province for a day. I highly recommend this wonderful property.

Pastoral countryside

This is the quintessential bucolic get away far from the madding crowd. If you want a quiet escape, this is it. the kitchen was very well equipped. The big window overlooks the Minas Basin and we experienced a beautiful sunset after a rainy day. And yes, the rest of the windows allowed us to keep track of the cows in the next door pasture. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location, stunning views. Couch to be replaced. Cleanliness to be worked on as floors dirty and lots of cobwebs.Mouse came to visit/easy fix from host. Great communication from host. Furniture in pictures is not what's in house. Amazing price point!

A Dream Come True

My family and I came from Louisiana to learn about our ancestors and their way of life. This property was perfect for our family of five. The check-in process was simple, the property was clean, and it had all the amenities we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It had great access to Wolfville and the surrounding areas. It was only a couple minutes from Blomidon Provincial Park, which is a must see in my opinion. The trails were breathtaking. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this area. I don't believe I've ever seen so many stars! If we were to have the opportunity in the future, we would absolutely stay here again.

Special place, we really enjoyed our stay. Entire two bedroom house with a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, propane grill, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and amazing view, nothing more we could have asked for. Blomidon Park and the beach were close and easily accessible. Our hosts, Susan and Bill, were very friendly and readily available. One of the best stays we’ve had, if we get back this way we will definitely book again.
