This fabulous custom home sits right on the sand in quiet Tierra del Mar, with panoramic ocean views and a path to the beach right out the door. You’ll marvel at the fantastic natural setting from every window, and appreciate the upper-level great room and the vaulted ceilings and natural wood beams that bring in ocean light.

The living room features plush sofas and a gas fireplace, plus a lineup of handcrafted rocking chairs for gazing at the sea. The warm, versatile kitchen has custom cabinetry, granite counters, slate backsplash, stainless appliances, and a double oven and ocean-view sink. A deck takes you out the back and down to the beach.

There’s an upper-level bedroom with a full bath; the downstairs has a queen bedroom plus a large, sunny bonus room with sofas for lounging. That makes Sea-Esta a terrific option for extra friends or family, who can enjoy space to themselves.

Tierra del Mar is close to Pacific City’s busy Cape Kiwanda, with its dining, shopping, fishing, and surfing, but worlds away if you prefer a quieter pace. Wonderful!!!!

We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the deck and the living area! The huge windows allowed us to enjoy the scenery while it rained outside. What a treat to walk off the deck right onto the beach! The house was clean, had all the dishes etc we needed.

Great location

Great location and would love to stay again but hopefully the beds and couches will get an upgrade. Also more than 3 towels for a week long stay would be nice.

An amazing home

What a beautiful home! The view was spectacular. Just steps to the beach. The house was very well equipped, clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the home so much, we will be back someday.

Place was perfect for just two of us. A small family could work too. Certainly wouldn’t want to make another couple be in basement though. Hedges blocked view. Strange. Smoke detector in master was taken apart, the part needing a new battery was in a basket in the laundry being room. Living room had a mission dollar view! But, no coffee table, no tv. A giant picnic table blocking access to kitchen but provides lots of seating if u need it. The gas fireplace was nice. Ok, the furniture is the most hodge podge situation I’ve ever seen. Randomly placed, nothing matches. Pic on wall all dinky and weirdly placed as afterthoughts. Master bedding so thin, glad we brought a blanket. Bed was fine, pillows awful. Kitchen well stocked, could use a bigger cutting board and knives that actually cut. I’ve maker wasn’t working when we got there but my husband fixed it. Bathroom had one whole towel in it. We had to search the house for another. The shower curtain fell completely down the first time we went to shower. I believe we paid for the view and close access. The lack of flow of decor was hard on the eyes honestly. Amazon has inexpensive nice looking furniture that could be cohesive. I’m sure the summer is great. Oh yeah I’d rip all the carpet out! There is sand at the beach!!!

Your feedback is very helpful and our inspector has already gotten to work on your list. He will see to it that the smoke detector and shower curtain are fixed properly. He reported back that the carpet is in good shape and the view is not obstructed by the hedges, in his opinion. We will have others weigh in on that item, though, to be sure. We will be speaking to the homeowners about adding blankets and housekeeping about ensuring the proper amount of towels are stocked in the home during each clean. Absolutely fantastic location!

The location was amazing, right on the pristine beach where you can walk for miles in each direction. The Pelican bar and grill was just a short drive away for oceanside dining. The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, our only disappointment was that we specifically booked it for the king-size bed and it was only a queen, so nights weren't as comfortable and we had hoped. Overall it was a great stay!

Relaxing getaway

Outstanding larger home on the beach! Plenty of room for my small family, deck with breathtaking views on beach frontage that doesn’t allow vehicles. Place was clean, well-kept and perfect for our weekend escape from reality. Absolute gem!

A walk on the beach

My husband, 1 year old son and my parents had a wonderful time at this property and would definitely come back. Our only suggestions would be trimming down the hedges on the deck as the ocean view was obscured when seated because they had grown so tall, and some newer pans would be great as the nonstick surfaces were worn off. The location was great and the beach was beautiful!

Wonderful Home and Location

Beautiful location and wonderful house. This is all you need to relax and enjoy the Oregon Coast. Steps to the beach and amazing view of the incoming waves. Just minutes away from Pacific City and steps away from the sand. The amenities that the house offers is perfect; whether it’s to cook, go to the beach, or enjoy a relaxing bath in the oversized tub: this home caters well to its guests. Highly Recommended!

Amazing Location, Cozy, What a View!

Great place and fit the family perfectly. Couch with white cover downstairs was a little dirty with some dog hair. Expected with pet friendly home. Need new pots and pans for cooking. Wear and tear and made it difficult to cook. I’ll bring a set and replace them out on next visit!

Beautiful view. East beach access. Well-stocked kitchen. Communicated a month and week in advance about some accomodations with the manager, who stated that they had been arranged, but they actually hadn't when we arrived. Reached out on our first night, and never heard back.

Property smelled horrible!

First let down is the unit did not have a tv upstairs or any queen beds in the unit!!! The listing stated that there were two queen beds. Second the downstairs furniture smelled like animal urine. When I contacted Meredith they offered no real solutions or partial refund. This was the worst booking experience we have ever had. I’d recommend taking your money elsewhere!

Excellent Ocean Getaway

This is a great location with beautiful views of the ocean. The shrubs need to be trimmed down a bit. I loved the kitchen view because I do a lot of the food prep, and this was designed for the kitchen person to have incredible views while prepping! Two things that could have been better: the king mattress felt like it had big lumps in it and it was ok, but not really comfy; the other thing is I contacted the host asking about what kind of bbq they had. I was told it was a propane grill and the propane would be supplied. That was not the case. There was no propane grill, but we did find a little charcoal grill sitting underneath the deck in the sand and no charcoal to speak of, so that was disappointing. We made due with the things we had though. Overall, it was a great location and excellent oceanfront home.
