A beautiful and spacious home for a family or multiple families looking for a space out of the bustle of Calgary but close enough to access quickly. An hour to Banff and the beauty of the mountains. This home has private parking and a beautiful backyard with an elevated and ground level deck with walkout.

Many amenities in our home including fireplaces, a home gym with treadmill, weights, elliptical, weight bench and spin bike, natural gas barbeque, smoker, full kitchen with convection oven, multiple ways to make great coffee, outdoor living spaces, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and a TV room with streaming services access.

Only 20 minutes to Calgary and 50 minutes to Banff, our family home is the perfect retreat to access Stampede or to get out into the mountains to hike, bike, fish or just go for a lovely picnic afternoon. Our home is located in the beautiful town of Cochrane on a quiet cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbours. Cochrane is a great small town with a cozy bookstore (Found), world-renowned MacKays’ Ice Cream, a full sportsplex, and many walking trails.

With enough space to house up to eight comfortably, with extra space on large couches, this home will be your oasis to retreat to after a busy day, or just lounge in the beautiful backyard on one of our hammocks or our daybed.

Our stay was perfect for our requirements.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was perfect for what we required. Only negative would be, not having AC, through out the house on those extremely hot days but that was a minor issue for us. We would definitely use the location again if needed.

Wedding weekend Perfect Stay

This was a perfect place and location for our family wedding weekend stay. Tim was a great communicator in touch when we initially booked and prior to our stay and was very helpful with extra information. The house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well stocked. There are many gourmet coffee options and nespresso and coffee was generously supplied. The only thing is there is no air conditioning except in master suite but it always cooled off at night so not a big issue. There is a beautiful backyard also with a very nice outdoor seating area as well as upper deck. Fantastic place to stay, highly recommend if you’re in the area and are looking for a larger comfortable place for family or a group to stay (pet friendly also).

We rent out our home on VRBO and AirBnb in the summer for several weeks while we travel. This is not a full time rental space, it is our home, so expect to enter a clean but lived-in home.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is very friendly with a Tim Hortons, Mexican and Nepalese restaurants, and gas station all within walking distance. A five minute drive into town allows you all that you need - grocery stores, restaurants, and much more. Downtown Calgary is only 30-35 minutes down Hwy 1A.

What makes this property unique

We have an amazing view and large back yard to enjoy with south-facing decks for evening sun. We also have a garden - feel free to pick anything you like, if it's ready.
