Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. While we're pleased to hear you enjoyed the great location, we're sorry to learn about the issues with hot water and cleanliness, including the coffee pot. We take these concerns seriously and will address them with our team to ensure improvements are made. Your input is invaluable, and we hope to provide a better experience on your next visit to Big Bear Vacations!
I didn’t do a lot of research on the area because I decided last minute to rent here. Of course we were there for Big Bear, and this place was close! My only recommendation is that you bring a snow shovel with you! Nice rooms with a good shower and kitchen! I would stay here again

Thanks so much for sharing your kind review with us Nicholas! So glad that you enjoyed your visit here at Club View Pines! This chalet is a fabulous location for the resort in the winter months for sure! Our team is looking forward to hosting you again for more 5 star trips!!
Amazing location!! Steps away from Bear Mtn!!! I just hated that we didn't have access to the garage...the snow plow that comes multiple times daily blocked our car from driveway access (even with all wheel drive). Very inconvenient. Also no shampoo provided. But overall the location was phenomenal and it was cute and cozy!

Not what it seemed
Pictures do not represent what this home looks like. Much older and less inviting than appears in pictures. Heat never got above 59° overnight, dangerously low when it’s 5° outside. Snow was not shoveled on stairs leading up to front door, which took an hour to shovel upon arrival.

Thanks so much for sharing this valuable feedback with us Ross. Our photos are newly taken this season and were just uploaded so we are surprised by your comment however we will look into taking even more. Our team is here for guests 24/7 and would have happily assisted with any heat issues had we been made aware of this during your visit, we do inspect every property prior to a guest arriving to ensure the heat, water, power, and wifi are functioning properly so again we are surprised by this comment however our team will look into this as well. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a much better visit next time!
We had a horrible stay. Shortly after arriving on Christmas Eve with our 17th month old baby we found that the shower and toilet did not drain and that sewage was bubbling up into the shower. (Also I am 8 months pregnant) We contacted the property manager who did send out maintenance in a timely manner. When maintenance arrived they told us this same issue had happened 2 weeks ago and that it was unsanitary to stay in the property. The management company was unable to relocate us to a suitable replacement and so we had to cancel the trip and leave the next morning on Christmas Day. We spent hours going back and forth with the management company and every time spoke to a different person and had to re-explain to them the situation. It was an extremely frustrating experience. I had seen reviews on the listing about some people not having hot water during their stay and had even reached out to the property about a month before our booking to double check the water was in working order! I would not recommend this house AT ALL.

Isabelle, we’re truly sorry for the experience you had. This is absolutely not the stay we wanted for you, especially over the holidays and under such difficult circumstances. We understand how frustrating and disappointing it must have been to deal with these issues, and we regret that we weren’t able to provide a better resolution in the moment. Your feedback is incredibly important, and we will be reviewing what happened to prevent this from occurring again. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this caused.
